Wave Riders of the Ancient Way Spiritual Healing Center is a new addition to the popular travelers destination El Morro R.V. Park and Cabins (just a 1 mile East of El Morro National Monument Ramah, New Mexico). At Wave-Riders of the Ancient Way, we offer a wide array of body/mind/ spirit therapies geared toward the re-establishment of a client's personal frequency of wellness.
While El Morro often has mild winters, a shift in El Nino will produce heavier snows at times. But 3" - 5" snows are typical, with the majority melting off by the end of the day. And since we are located just off HWY 53, county snow plows can usually maintain our access to both nearby towns, Grants and Gallup, each on I40.

Nice little campground, convenient to El Morro and El Malpais national monuments. Camp sites are a little too close to each other and they only have a couple pull thru sites for bigger rigs. We stayed in site A with our 39 foot class A motor home for 2 nights, which worked fine. The internet was sketchy, even though we were up front close to the office/Cafe. The campground was quiet and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great place to stay on our way thru NM. The sites are a bit close together and the hookups need some updating, but the staff makes up for those issues. We didn't visit the cafe so can't comment on that, other than to say they were petty full from the other campers.
Definitely worth the stop, we also visited Bandera Volcano & ice caves, and the El Morro natl monument - both of those are also worth the visit.

We hit the Jackpot with this one! These amazing little cabins are just 1 mile from El Morro National Monument which is home to the World famous Inscription Wall and the most beautiful 2.5 mile hike you may ever do. Along the hike you will climb to the top of a mesa which passes through a partially excavated ancient pueblo that alone is worth the hike not to mention the views. These cabins have everything, i.e. Wifi, fans, refrigerator, microwave, hot-plate, Queen sized bed with a loft and another bed, GIANT shower and on and on, we LOVED it and will be back. Don't forget about visiting Malpais

Cute little camping spot. We stayed in a 33 ft RV for one night. We would have stayed longer if didn't have a busy agenda ahead of us. The grounds are nice and quiet. You can't make reservations online for the campsite (only cabins, but those looked super cute and fully booked), but you can email and Feather is super accommodating and responsive. We arrived to our site kinda late and he had reserved a very nice large site for us with cones. Feather even greeted us and was super helpful throughout the entire stay. There is a nice little art walk/ trail behind the property, and you can tell someone

Peaceful, friendly place. Easy to find and access. Great location for exploring El Morro National Monument and El Malpais National Monument. Pet-friendly cabins available. Clean and quiet park that also offers a wonderful sculpture trail. Stay to the left on the trail and you will find a porch swing that offers amazing views of El Morro to the west.

This is a scenic rv park near the El Morro national monument. It has a cafe and bathrooms. It's stunning at night but gets noisy around 4am with people leaving and talking just all around traffic on the highway. Given El Morro NM has not very many places to stay I would suggest staying here the people are friendly.

Great atmosphere and very friendly and down to earth hosts. The food at the restaurant was very good, especially the free range eggs omelette and the scones. The camping spot we chose was pretty level and had full hookups. The bathrooms could use a little updating, but they were clean and we were able to take showers.

Totally enjoyed camping at this place. Picturesque location with a laid back atmosphere. Good food and nice tent camping spots with shade, privacy fencing and fire rings for tent sites. The bathrooms have hot water and laundry. The free range chickens stop by to clean up after a meal and entertainment. Just down the road from El Morro National Monument. This is the place to spend a few days and check out the sites or just relax and take it all in.
