At Kramer and Brown we have been designing custom homes since the inception of the Firm in 1974. With 60+ years of combined design experience there are very few design hurdles that we have not mastered on previous projects. We design and detail the most efficient structures possible, simplifying the building process, ultimately saving the client both time and money.
We are well versed in commercial building design and have completed many diverse projects that utilize a variety of structural building systems. With a strong background in new design we are also uniquely qualified to help in the repairs and rehabilitation of deteriorating structures.
All commercial drafting will be completed using Revit, a 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) platform that allows all members of the design team (architect, mechanical, structural, electrical, etc.) to collaborate and resolve building conflicts prior to construction.

One of our specialties at Kramer and Brown is Historic Structural Assessment and Rehabilitation. It takes a unique investigative approach to understand complex historic structural systems and evaluate their performance. Rehabilitation of historic structures takes specialized design solutions that strengthen the existing structure while maintaining the historic nature of the building.
Since 1984 we have designed over 650 pedestrian and vehicular bridges. We have vast experience in the design of both superstructure and substructure elements including: steel truss bridges, steel girder bridges, concrete bridges and prestressed concrete girder bridges as well as both deep and shallow abutment systems.
Kramer and Brown have been on many Cilvil Engineering project teams and have designed: waste water treatment plants, water filtration plants, concrete water storage facilities, bridges, roadside retaining walls, banner pole structures, and municipal facilities. We are well versed in the code requirements for general civil projects and are always looking for efficient and long lasting solutions to infrastructure needs.

We had a great experience with them on our project. Initial designs were produced quickly and when site conditions changed, revisions to the design were made quickly to keep our project on schedule. Dylan was a great help on our project and I would highly recommend them. I know we will be reaching out to them for future projects.
