I had kind of an idea of how I wanted to color my hair and Angela was incredibly helpful at talking it over with me and finding a color that worked, and did a beautiful job applying it. She gave my hair color more dimension than I’ve gotten at other salons I’ve visited. I really enjoy my visits to Lume!

Angela is fantastic at her job! After getting a botched bob at another salon, I came to Lume to get my hair even, blunt, and texturized. I have very thick hair and almost always get a botched haircut because many stylists don't take the time to split it into enough layers. Angela spent nearly an hour perfecting it, gave suggestions, and asked for my feedback throughout the appointment. She was also a pleasure to talk to, was great with COVID safety, and had a cute clean space. This place is worth every penny!

Stylish, clean studio located in the salon lofts. I was looking to try a new salon and happy I found Lume. Angela is amazing! I got partial highlights and a hair cut/blowdry and love how my hair turned out. You can tell Angela is an experienced stylist and knows how to give clients the exact color they are looking for. Would recommend!

Angela was great! I have been to several hair salons and this was the best place I have ever been to. It is very clear that she knows what she is doing and she is very professional. She explained everything to me before we begin and let me decided if that is something I want to proceed with. She was very gentle with my hair. After seeing so many glowing reviews online, I decided to give Lume Hair Styles (aka Angela) a try. Boy - am I glad I did! She is everything a talented hair stylist/artist should be. I walked in with crazy hair looking like the Mad Professor and emerged out with bouncy, healthy-looking, perfectly cut hair! Angela is easy to talk to, sticks to your hairstyle requests, and her prices are very reasonable for such a fancy neighborhood as Chevy Chase.
