Services
At the Maumee River Yacht Club you will discover over a century of tradition and excellence combined with enthusiasm and passion in everything we do. All year long you will find a lot to do at MRYC. During the winter months you are sure to find many spirited conversations with friends while enjoying the view at the River view bar located on our main level area, or enjoy a hot cup of coffee by our beautiful fireplace.
The Maumee River Yacht Club has a long and fascinating history, beginning in 1899 just a short distance down-river from the present site in a once well-known boathouse. Old stories indicate that the Club burgee was designed in 1906, and this corresponds with original plans to build a clubhouse that year.
Maumee River Yacht Club maintains a casual atmosphere. Although coats and ties are not required, business casual attire is encouraged. Swimsuits, tank tops and baseball hats are not permitted in the main dining room or on the deck. Dockage: Maumee River Yacht Club has 85 slips for its members, ranging from 30 ft. docks to 50 ft docks.
MRYC social membership is a great way to enjoy everything that the club has to offer even if your not a boater. Social membership gives you a full year of MRYC enjoyment and access to all club facilities. To become a MRYC social member simply download the application below and bring it to the club house or contact us using the form and will be happy to get back to you.
MRYC is proud to be one of the very few yacht clubs in the western Lake Erie basin to offer an in-ground pool, complete with kiddie pool, kid's playground, sun deck, grilling areas, and an adjacent full-service bar with food service available. The pool bar is decorated in a Key West/tropical theme and is a worthwhile destination in and of itself!

We attended a wedding reception here yesterday on the top floor. It was in need of a good cleaning. The drapes and netting on the rafters were dingy and looked dusty. There were light bulbs out in nearly every fixture. The a/c was barely working. The balcony off the room was covered in dead bugs and giant spiderwebs. Seems like the venue could have attended to this, prior to renting it out.
If these issues were addressed it would be a good place for an event.
The view was very nice.

Lunches here are open to the public from 11-2 Tuesdays thru Fridays. I love coming not just for the food but for the best views on the river. I often see deer walking with their fawns from island to island while I eat. I usually order ruebens (regular or turkey) or hamburgers, but they also have great appetizers, soup and salads. It feels upscale but is casual and the prices are reasonable.
