Services
Created by physicians who are pioneers in precision pain management, Nura brings together a highly specialized team of medical professionals with a broad range of knowledge. We will work with you to ensure we fully understand your pain, determine its causes, and treat your chronic pain with pinpoint precision.
Chronic pain has many causes, and our team of top pain specialists at Nura have broad expertise treating a wide range of conditions. Before beginning any treatment, however, we focus closely on identifying the precise nature of your pain. Pain symptoms experienced by those with cancer pain vary from person to person and can range from mild to severe chronic pain.
Back pain symptoms may include feelings of muscle ache, stabbing or shooting pain, stiff or limited flexibility in the back or lower back, inability to stand with proper posture and radiating pain down one or both legs. Back pain can have many causes, and many times, back pain will resolve itself in two to four weeks with rest, ice and heat.
Neck pain can occur from the top of your shoulders to the bottom of your head. Neck pain symptoms may be mild to severe and may limit your range of motion and cause you to seek neck pain management. As you age, you are more likely to have increased wear and tear on vertebrae, discs, muscles and joints.
A herniated disc occurs usually with gradual wear and tear of the disc, called disc degeneration. The center of a vertebral disc is fluid filled and loss of this fluid can lead to less flexibility and increased risk to tear or rupture. When the fluid filled, soft, central region of the disc (nucleus pulposus) pushes through a tear in the outer ring of the disc, a disc herniation, rupture or fragmenting of the disc can occur into the spinal canal.

1st appt experience: 25 minute wait downstairs, sent upstairs to wait 10 minutes. 10 minute wait in the room. 7 minute non chalant doctor visit with a nerve block or epidural therapy as only option. No explanations and didn't care to get to the room of any pain. Dr and his assistance left leaving me there for another 10 minutes and no one returned. I eventually just walked out and will not ever walk back in. Not a good place or caring place to for care.

Initially calling they were able to squeeze me in to a same day appointment.
I had been experiencing very bad pain for 1 week of torchure.
Peter Schultz was a very nice MD. Was able to give me the right treatment to help my body start the healing process. Better than the ER and other doctors I had seen.
Definitely recommend this place. 👌

Do not be deceived!!! Reviews on the Nura internet site are all A+... however I would advise you to check out more objective sites like Yelp! It's an entirely different story ..This provider is more interested in their bottom line than your health. You can also look them up on the Internet by their previous name, MAPS ( Medical Advanced Pain Specialists.)
During my one and only 30 minute visit to Doctor Peter Schultz , he seemed quite anxious to transfer my pain meds (which I had been taking for 5 years) from my Internist and then when I needed a refill he refused without seeing me first

I went here for a few years. Eventually, after hardly helping with your chronic pain they give you the ultimatum. Have their doctor perform a spinal block on you, or all you can take is tylenol. You also had to do physical therapy, drug testing, appointments each month. It was a lot, for very little relief. I was extremely nervous about needles in my back and who wouldn't be?!

I moved to MN from CA and had to find a new pain management provider. I have adult onset scoliosis and a pain pump imedded in my body. From the time I went off pain patches to a pump, I've seen 5 pain management doctors. The California doctors were in the process of removing the opiod pain medication from my pain pump because they said Congress & the laws said I had too much.
When I moved to MN, I interviewed several pain management offices and NURA came very highly recommended by word of mouth from a VP from a company called Medtronics which made the pain pump I use. The two doctors

I normally do not use Yelp. I don't read their reviews. I don't (normally) leave reviews. I believe that Yelp engages in poor business practices and do not support them in anyway.
With that being said, I downloaded the app so that I could write a review for this company. These folks deserve it! When I looked up an address of one of their locations on google, it showed (3) bad reviews via Yelp. This company used to be called MAPS. It was owned by a "medical group". Suits from out of town. You know the ones...The ones that care more for their bottom line, rather than their patients

Terrible experience. Do not go to this clinic if you can avoid it. I worked with Rouguy Bah DNP. She prescribed a pretty invasive procedure because of how "severe" the problem was, but then wouldn't give me medication to get through the two weeks until the procedure.
She told me to call if the pain got worse and then literally never answered. They have a nurses line that they never answer. They literally just will not reply.
In the appointment, they barely even assess your pain and background. She was literally the worst person I've ever seen there. It used to be MAPS, they
