Services
Even though it has the word "grocery" in the name, you can't pick up your supermarket groceries here at Pizza Grocery. What is now Pizza Grocery was built in the early 1900's and operated most recently as Alcorn Wholesale. From 1934 - 1985 it warehoused dry groceries, produce, and was also a distributor for Pabst and Sterling beer.
Romaine lettuce topped with fried or grilled shrimp tossed in our signature remoulade with diced celery and red bell pepper. Layered in a mason jar with black beans, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, red onion, corn, and bell pepper. Served with arugula and skillet cornbread. House smoked duck breast, sweet onion jam, goat cheese mozzarella, & topped with green onions.

We come here as often as we can! We love pizza grocery! The staff are all incredible and the food is always good. This time I tried the fried shrimp Poboy and it was so good I might not try anything else for a bit! Wife and daughter got their usual order of spaghetti. We love to start with the spinach dip and end with some beignets, tried the honey this time!

Oh my... The food was scrumptious!!! The pimento cheese balls were creamy deliciousness, the mozzarella sticks were the best!! The calzone was very good, the marinara sauce that came with it and in it was so, so yummy!!! The building the restaurant is in is very interesting and unique. Loved this restaurant.

Hostess helpful. Waiter friendly. Young man who delivered our food surly and didn't bring knife asked for or appetizer. Spaghetti very good, wedge salad had brown-veined leaf on outside and was served basically upside down. My appetizer finally arrived after the meal and after several requests. Seafood lasagna had good flavor and scallops well cooked but was mostly cheese, I found 1 noodle. Manager did take half off for lasagna but everybody blamed someone else for problem. If I go there again will try pizza, everyone seemed happy with that.

I ordered pizza, chicken wings, and wine. The good: pizza was excellent. Crust was cooked perfectly, sauce was delicious, etc. The bad: I asked for the wings to be crispy. They arrived with black scorch marks so I assumed they were at least crispy. I assumed incorrectly. They were anything but crispy and in fact almost gelatinous. The bad: I never got the wine I ordered. I would give this place a 2.5, but Yelp doesn't allow that, so 2 stars it is. Hope they read reviews and use them for improvement.

My family and I stopped here years ago for dinner, on the way back from boating. I remembered it being good so I stopped for lunch on my way back to Memphis from Huntsville. I got the West Coast as a calzone and, yup, I remembered correctly, it was delicious! As with all my reviews I have to comment on the service. Lunch is not full service, unfortunately, so I cannot speak to that this time around. I don't remember it being bad 15 years ago so it was probably good. ;-) The counter staff and gal who brought me my food were very friendly and I didn't have to wait long for my food. So

Husband was so upset with the lack of service, we boxed our food up and brought it home. We never got refills or seen about even though my husband attempted to get her attention as she was serving other tables ignoring ours. Food was bland and more dough than topping on my 6" pizza. Salad was small but fresh. Just very disappointed by the experience, I had been looking forward to checking this place out but won't be going back. It looked like a cool space even going downstairs wasn't too bad.

Upon arriving, we gave the hostess our phone number so we could be contacted when a table became available. We were told the wait time was about 25 minutes. We called the restaurant after waiting for 30 minutes and asked about the wait time. We were then told the wait time would be 45 minutes. Booked a Christmas party for 20 people for 6:00pm. Service was quick and accurate, however we were rushed out of there. Prior to placing our orders we told the server we also needed to place a couple "to go" orders, and reminded her of this. When we tried placing the orders, we were told the kitchen staff had left for the evening. This was just after 7pm. Food was good, but not a place to book a large party if you want time to enjoy it.

Absolutely amazing. I have had pizza, pasta and sandwiches here and it is all amazing. They have Calzones as well. Service is top notch. You may have to wait but it's only because they are a favorite and stay very busy. If you don't want to wait make a reservation. We have had family get togethers here and football team parties as well as office dinners. It fits any celebration or get together on your agenda. We even had take out after Covid hit. It was seamless.

Come on a Friday night and have a reservation. Waitress never came by to say hi or anything took 15 minutes to even get drink orders. Then after trying to order various items was told they are out of almost everything on the menu. After ordering 3 appetizers was brought them out separately and two entrees then another 10 minutes for more and then another 15 minutes for the remaining entrees. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. My food was cold by the time the rest was delivered. Asked for mushrooms then after my food arrived was told they were out. NEVER COMING BACK!!!! This is ridiculous and

We usually receive excellent service and great food from Pizza Grocery, so we were unpleasantly surprised with our carry out order this evening. We both ordered chicken parmesan, but we got something very odd. Chicken parm is usually a breaded cutlet, but we both received dry, half-breaded, super-thick chicken breasts that were so over-cooked that they were nearly inedible. I also received an inedible piece of bread that was so hard I could have broken a window with it. I hope this was a fluke, because we have enjoyed this restaurant many times in the past. Very disappointing.

As a math geek, I celebrate Pi Day big time. I was looking for somewhere new to eat tonight and did a Google search for pizza in Corinth. Pizza Grocery was the first hit that came back, and I was intrigued by the location, atmosphere, and menu. So I drove down for supper and really enjoyed a nice relaxing casual evening of dining. Started with the Suppli which was a great appetizer, followed with a Crossroads pizza (BBQ chicken) and a Pork Belly pizza (spicy with a pepper jelly sauce), and topped it off with a chocolate pizza. The food was great, the service was good, and the evening was best enjoyable

First .. brought the wrong bottle of wine.. the end of the night " we're not changing you for the wrong bottle!!!" Seriously???
Ordered 3 fried green tomato sandwiches with bacon and pimento cheese... when we asked for bacon and pimento ( as none of them had ANY) they acted like we were lying... we were told they were having a rough night in the kitchen...

This is a restaurant that, if you are in the area, you need to experience. I've been wanting to eat here for years and just now got around to doing so, but let me tell you, we will be back!
We started our meal with the Pimiento Cheese Fritters, which were perfectly crispy on the outside with warm, creamy goodness on the inside.
