RaceQuip was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1975. Since then, RaceQuip has enjoyed a reputation for manufacturing the highest quality auto racing safety equipment available. Safe-Quip was formed in 1987 to build high quality, yet affordable, safety equipment in Irmo, South Carolina. In 2006, both brands were purchased by Vesta Motorsports USA, Inc. led by longtime motorsports entrepreneur Patrick Utt.

The SFI Foundation has changed the method of labeling expiration dates on Harnesses and Window Nets. All harness systems are constructed using drop-forged steel hardware for ultimate strength and reduced weight. All hardware is cadmium plated for added protection. We use only 3 premium polyester webbing and all belts are box-x pattern sewn to ensure uniform stitch length and strength.
The SFI Foundation has changed the method of labeling expiration dates on Harnesses and Window Nets. RaceQuip Sportsman Camlock Harness Sets feature a durable aluminum cam buckle with an activation lever that points downward. The Sportsman cam utilizes a 45(right or left) unlatch movement to prevent accidental opening and the precise spring pressure provides a positive feel.
RaceQuip FIA Certified Composite Racing Seats provide the support to hold you firmly in place for increased car control. These seats are certified to FIA 8855-1999 spec with FIA hologram affixed. The design is suitable for professional racing with it's increased thigh and hip support along with extended shoulder and rib bolsters for extra containment.
The RaceQuip PRO20 is a Snell SA2020 rated full face auto racing helmet that incorporates contemporary styling with modern production techniques. The shell is built using pre-preg composite materials placed into pressurized steel molds to achieve the best combination of light weight and strength. Reinforced M6 threaded HANS/HNR inserts are mated to the shell along with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner.
