Dr. Kravitz is one of the best doctors. He not only cares about your teeth but the whole person. I've never seen a doctor who tells their patients that they come first. I've had braces for TMJ and have completed my "program" and my daughter is currently under his care for the same thing. I would not go to any other orthodontist.
Dr. Neal D. Kravitz is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He also serves as a clinical faculty member and research adviser at the University of Maryland and Washington Hospital Center.
Dr. Kravitz is an dual Ivy-Leagued trained orthodontist who received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University (where he was Academic All-Ivy while playing for the Columbia Lions Football team), and received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (where he graduated as Valedictorian).

She graduated from the College of William & Mary with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience, earned her doctorate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, and specialized in orthodontics at Nova Southeastern University.During her residency, she focused on the psychological impact through her thesis on orthodontic patients' oral health quality of life and received her Master of Science degree.

Dr. Jessica Thai is a native of Fairfax and was inspired by her orthodontist when she had braces as a teenager. As an orthodontist, she loves watching her patients grow and gain confidence, just like she did. Dr. Thai completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, where she graduated summa cum laude, earning dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology.
The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) was founded in 1929. It is the oldest and most prestigious specialty board in dentistry. The ABO's aim is to elevate the standards of the practice of orthodontia, to familiarize the public with its aim and ideals, and to protect the public against irresponsible and unqualified practitioners.

Our son's braces finally came off yesterday!!! We/him are so stoked bc it's been a long road for him to get to this place especially after his jaw surgery 4 months ago. Was it worth it? I cannot say enough about Dr. Kravitz and his staff. They are all amazing. Kind and compassionate. They really take the time to get to know you and provide the best care you need. My daughters teeth came out great with her phase one treatment. Dr Kravitz definitely knows the best way to treat you and isn't about the money. He wants to make everyone look and feel their best. I would highly recommend this practice 10000%! I would travel from another stage to come to this practice if I had to because I know I would get the best patient care.

I saw Dr. Kravitz to get a second opinion about some problems I had with my orthodontics that had been applied by another provider.
Dr. Kravitz was absolutely wonderful- kind, caring, professional and very knowledgeable about his work.I felt like a close member of his family as he pointed out some simple corrections that we could make to get the results I had always been hoping for but never expected to see.
I wish I had gone to see Dr.. kravitz from the beginning but am very happy to be his patient now.He has my HIGHEST recommendation-and I can't wait to see the final results of my smile.

I am a nurse and I found Kravitz orthodontist by numerous positive reviews from friends, former patients, and most importantly employees of Dr. Kravitz!
I am not a patient but he provided me with retainers after I accidentally melted my old ones.

I went to Dr. Kravitz's office with my wife for her orthodontic treatment. I had my own treatment done through Smile Direct online but was not quite happy and wanted permanent retainer. So, I decided to talk to the doctor about my issue as well. I just wanted the permanent retainer but he offered to fix my smile and the permanent retainer at the end of the treatment.
It took a few months for the treatment but it was worth it. I could not be happier with my smile. I don't normally write reviews but Dr. Kravitz deserves all the love and praise in the world. Him and his entire staffs are very nice

Always friendly and helpful! Our family (3 kids and 2 adults) have seen Dr. Kravitz over the years and have always been happy with the results and the service and care the staff there shows. Their up front pricing is really appreciated, and there is never an extra cost for a popped bracket or adjustment.

I have to give a shout out to Neal Kravitz for fixing me up on Memorial Day! I was out of town and chipped my front tooth, messaged Dr. Kravitz and he messaged me back immediately! I was not sure if he'd be able to fix my tooth on a Holiday, but he sure did come thru! I told him that I would be returning to VA the next morning and he told me to meet him at his office. I was so excited and relieved that I wouldn't be going around looking all snaggle-toothed for long, less than 24 hrs after it happened! Thanks a bunch Dr. Kravitz! I make the drive from DC to have Dr Kravitz treat my children because he's a Rockstar in the world of Orthodontics. Seriously, I've heard nothing but effusive praise for him from other DENTISTS! If you're on the fence about where to go for Orthodontic treatment then look no further. The team is professional, the office is cheery and Dr Kravitz's personality is fun and comforting. I decided to visit Dr. Kravitz to get a second opinion after my 17 year old daughter's dentist suggested she needed braces. I've always thought my daughter had beautifully straight teeth, but thought a second professional opinion might put both our minds at ease. If one reeeeeally wanted to nitpick, she does have a slight gap between the front 2 teeth that I am told will likely close on its own. Look no further this is the Orthodontist you want and need to go to. Our son had an accident during the Pandemic., on a Saturday. We were referred to Dr.K from our neighbor. He took our call within 5 minutes of hearing about his accident and told us to meet him at his office in 30 minutes. We weren't even patients of his at the time and he treated our son and family with exceptional care. His staff were also very kind and went above and beyond what we expected.

I have become acquainted with Dr Kravitz professionally, and can say his work is outstanding! He cares deeply for all of his patients and has projected this level of care to his team of professionals in his office. If I lived in South Riding, I would take my kids there! It's a Saturday at 4pm, and Murphy's Law, my daughter's permanent retainer wire broke and was poking her. These things never happen during regular office hours. But, I sent a message to Dr Kravitz on Facebook messenger asking if he could fit her on Monday, as she goes off to college on Tuesday.
Dr. Kravitz replied back within 5 minutes, "Can you bring her in now?" And he literally fixed her up right then and there, all by himself, at 4pm on a Saturday in the South Riding office.

Dr. Kravitz is amazing! He transformed my smile. As an adult, having to get braces again for not wearing my retainer as a child, Dr. Kravitz and his team were very intentional in all the details. Very accommodating. If I had any issues with my braces, they would get me in immediately. I've never been to an office that seemed to really care about their patients. I am very particular and I am so happy with the results. I am not embarrassed to smile for pictures now!

You can catch him out and about just being a 'normal' guy!! He will stop and talk to you, he remembers you, and will make sure you're good. Our daughter got her braces off and retainer in today! We love Dr. Neal Kravitz and his team...not just making smiles pretty but making people smile! Her doggy tee-shirt reads, "After this, we're getting cake!" Daddy did take her out for a celebratory sweet treat.
