Shezmu Cellars is an urban winery producing local honey-wines (mead) while also pouring 30 taps of craft beer and over 25 wines from North Georgia wine country. Available as a venue for private events, the Marietta winery hosts regular live music, art exhibits and comedy shows among the occasional themed party.

Lots of drinks on tap (even if you aren’t mead crazy like me). Naunet, their flagship mead, is delicious. One of the best meads you will find out there. Perfect amount of dryness with tons of honey flavor and super crisp. My banana, which is a hopped mead with a lower abv, is very good as well. It drinks like an IPA with very mild IBU’s, but isn’t one note like a lot of IPA’s. Has a complex and delicious flavor that you just need to try. You are missing out if you haven’t visited this place.

This place was awesome! Found them on groupon and I'm incredibly glad I did. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about their beer and wine! Axe throwing was simple and a blast! They had other entertainment as well, like darts, board games, beer pong, etc. There's a delicious "sake shot" that I ended up getting two of. Will definitely be coming back!

It was date night with my Honey Bear. He found this little spot and I'm so glad he did. Local, clean and cozy. The live band was Great!!! From the time we walked through the door it was fun and great times. So glad we went. Going back soon! Gave it four stars because I would have loved some appetizers.

I love this place! It has something for everyone - large variety of beers on tap, mead & wine. The owner, Adam, was nothing but delightful to me & my friend when we came and sat at the bar. He was informative about their beverages besides just being an attentive and engaging bartender! Ordering garlic knots as a snack from next door was an added bonus. We will definitely be back!

We threw our parents a surprise party here and everyone had the best time. The live music was amazing! His name was Jordan and i cannot say enough about how great he was! All the girls working were so friendly. They helped us set up, kept our drinks filled and the vibe was amazing! They even let a few of our guest up to sing and even a few bartenders sang a few. Great time had by all! Thank you thank you!

Shezmu is a delight in every way. They offer a vast selection of craft beers, local wines and, of course, the mead. The crew is welcoming and the place itself is wonderful to hang out with friends. They have games from corn hole to water pong and everything in between. Local music and other entertainment is offered on the weekends. Even artwork from local artists each month is featured on their walls. And if you are hungry, great pizza and more comes from Night Owl next door. You really can't ask for a better local hangout.

This place is a joke and so are the idiots who run it. Very unprofessional management; the employees had zero care for the customer. I felt as though I was a hindrance to their little groupie hangout. Complete trash. A literal stain to the community. You couldn't redeem this place if Bar Rescue, Gordon Ramsay, and Dr Phil showed up.

Honestly, I'm afraid to post the amazing review that this gem of a place deserves because I want to keep it my personal favorite spot all for myself.
The house-brewed mead is the best mead I've ever had. They have a great menu consisting almost exclusively all LOCAL brews. Sours, nitros, IPAS, Ambers/browns, mead, wine, fairly priced flights... they even have Night Owl Pizza served the absolute freshest it can be since it is the pizza shop ten feet away from the bar delivered with priority.

Marietta has a growing craft cider and beer scene, and Shezmu is a newer kid on this block.
But what sets Shezmu apart is that in addition to beer, It offers unique wine and mead pours.
It has a very casual atmosphere, and is spacious. Its the perfect place to meet up with some friends to just have a drink and chat. It's a great addition to the area.

Shezmu is still fairly new at the time of this review, but I can't wait to return. My boyfriend and I stopped in here one Saturday afternoon between the lunch and dinner, so it was fairly uncrowded. That meant we got a rather personalized experience with the owners. They answered all our weird questions and made great conversation as well as recommendations as they got to know our tastes.

You have got to experience this hidden gem owned by three great gentlemen. My wife and I yelped wine bars and found Shezmu Cellars tucked away off the beaten path. All three owners happened to be there and guided us through their meads and beers on tap. We had a fantastic time and learned how they started their business. A must do!

Fantastic beer and the atmosphere was awesome. Even on a Wednesday! We came in to check it out and the owner really made us feel at home. The offering was incredibly extensive whether you like beer, wine or mead. Trust me when I tell you, you will not find a more inviting and fun at atmosphere. Went here on a whim for a date night out at the end of April and was pleasantly surprised throughout the whole experience. Shezmu is a fairly new establishment, having just opened their doors a few weeks ago, but they already have a good vibe going.
