It's an unfortunate day but it happens. The CP4 pump from Bosch is prone to failure in the 2011-2016 LML 6.6L Duramax and the 2011-2021 Ford 6.7L Engines, taking out every imaginable fuel system component with it. A lot of factors play into this question. In the short, yes and no. It's different for all insurance companies, from our personal experience, State Farm is the most willing to work with us on these types of issues.
We know it sounds ridiculous, but it happens. Although we're big Ford & Cummins advocates here at Texas Diesel, they both could have placed their DEF fill in a different place to at least alleviate confusion or distractedness while filling your def tank. The guys at TxDC are the very best! If you have a diesel truck and you're within 100 miles of them, you'd be crazy to take it anywhere else! I have a 2nd gen cummins named Frank that I run hot shots with, and I had a delivery in Sherman on a recent Monday evening. About 10 miles after I made the delivery, Frank's entire front end forcefully declared we would go no further. So, on the side of the road, I looked for a local diesel shop, found TxDC. They were closed for the night and so I sent them an email, explaining my situation and hoping to hear from them the following day. I was absolutely impressed

I can not speak highly enough of Ruben, his crew, and TxDC. I brought a pickup in with one issue and a second much more expensive issue. Before they drove into the second more expensive issue they double and triple checked the first issue to make 100% sure that wasn't a recurring issue. I'm impressed to no end. All this time driving by I thought they were only a lift and specialty shop. Nope, as Ruben said we don't do audio or body work. Everything else we can handle. Ruben is definitely going to my go to mechanic from here on out. Van is lucky to have someone of this caliber local.

Experience was good. My truck needed a lot of work. I feel the repairs were completed competently and at a fair price. Ruben did a great job of keeping me updated on the repair progress. The technician appeared to spend extra time confirming his repairs were solid. The tech identified the cause of one particular problem that other shops couldn't figure out. Lastly, I had the opportunity to debrief with the tech and he shared insight into issues he identified. Their shop has a great offering in terms of diesel repair. That is best evidenced by their expanding customer base.

I’ve been having issues with my check engine light showing errors with the NOx sensor. Come to find out it was only the module that was the issue. TxDC did a great job working my truck in and replacing the module. So far so good. Engine light has stayed off.
This is my first diesel to own and they answered some of my basic questions with owning a Diesel engine truck. I know when I need it worked on it will be coming here! Very professional and informative.

Our experience with Texas diesel began back in February when we had an unfortunate situation of needing a new engine. We ordered a long block from a engine builder in south Texas. We hired Texas diesel to complete the engine swap. This was the start of our nightmare.
In a document wrote by Matt Canavan the owner himself when our truck was on the way out of their shop he states that when they removed the cab of our truck they noticed the transmission bell housing had a crack. They never once mentioned this to us before beginning any work on our truck. We had ordered a brand new custom engine
