We stayed at River's Edge for one night and overall it was okay for a single night stop. The site was a decent size, relatively easy to get into and had a picnic table. However, the sites are essentially compacted sand. You'll want a good sized rug if staying for more than a night. The park is only 2 miles off of the interstate but there isn't a grocery or gas station close and there's not really a campstore. The bathhouse is run down and in need of some updating especially with the windows not being frosted glass for privacy! Cell phones barely work and there's no internet to speak of so if you

Never again. This place is still advertising amenities they DON'T have. There is no country store, no clubhouse, and the WiFi is poor. Half the visiters there aren't even camping. They live there. Staff doesn't want to help you with anything. They just want your money and be left alone.
Very disappointing.

My wife and I reserved a spot for 7 days. We are 3 weeks out and find out our grandchildren we were going to visit have tested positive for Covid. My wife has had Covid and it was devastating for her. We decided not to chance it and called to Cancel. With 3 weeks notice they refused to refund. They will double book that site and no regard to customer service or value. I DO NOT recommend them.

Just spent a week at this camp ground, nice quiet place. I do have one complaint. I was sitting outside Thursday morning with my grandkids having breakfast, when they were mowing the neighbors yard and then continued over to the campsite where I was at, stirring up dust. throwing objects from the ground hitting us. came right beside us sitting at picnic table. very rude. they could have went to next site, and came back later. we did leave for the afternoon.

Zero stars!!!!!My grandkids got Covid after we made our reservations to go see them so we had to cancel. The woman would not refund our money even though we called a month in advance and their website says non-refundable but in special circumstances you may get a refund if you talk to management. We thought this was pretty special circumstances.
Warning to anyone wanting to stay there! DON’T

Dawn is very nice and helpful on the phone:) They offer TOUCHLESS CHECK-IN. When you walk up on the porch and turn to your right, your envelope with your reservation and instructions are right there. If you need something else, you can knock on the door of the office.
Good Passport America price for our stay. This is an old campground right on Yellow River @45 miles north of Destin, FL. They're known for large, long, pull-thru sites with tall trees, shade, and fishing. I love the distance between these sites for peace and privacy. You don't hear road traffic either.

This our first and LAST time we will stay here. This park is a DUMP! All the lots are sand, which is a mess. There is nothing redeeming about this park. I went into the bath house and it's disgusting and dark. Has one shower and the shower next to it is boarded up. They have zero amenities and a bunch of strays wander the park. I love animals, so this was disturbing to see. Wish I could say something nice about this park, but there's no upkeep and it's just rundown. We were disappointed to say the least.

It would be a great campground if the cheap owner would make improvements. Raised the monthly rate but doesn’t put it toward anything except his pockets. For 80+ spots you have two washers and two dryers to work with, so good luck doing laundry. Want WiFi? Good luck with that too because they’re never in a hurry to get it hooked up. The owner also doesn’t care much about maintaining the roads. They’ve gotten slightly better but they’re still full of pot holes. If we didn’t have our dogs we would move to the campground up the road. I also noticed they got rid of one of the trash bins

Quiet location with river access. Very good price, especially with Passport America. Sites are long and level. Wifi is quite good--enough to stream low res sites. No cable (but not necessary with good wifi). Sewer line backed up on me. Sites are not paved and in fact are a fine sand. After rain everything is coated with this silty sand (see photo). Some sort of paving or gravel would make this park much nicer.

Good value if you are just stopping for a couple of days. We wouldn't suggest for long stays. Be aware, the LAUNDRY facility does not supply hot water to washers. This is a tired old campground in need of maintenance. The sites are spacious but they don't keep up with mowing or pests. Lots of sites but the long term campers are a bit of an eyesore. Again, good price with Passport America/$15, paid up front and non-refundable.

Planned a three week 3800 mile out and back motor home trip to Black Hills, SD.
Three weeks in advanced I searched for a campground one night stay. Found River's Edge Campground in Holt, FL. Reviewed their website for Rules and Refund Policies for advance reservations. Policy for refunds and cancellations were not posted on website. Called campground and spoke to Manager about reservation for July 4th. Manager required a credit card deposit the I asked about refund if I was delayed or experienced other problems en route. Manager replied "No Refunds". 48 hours in advance, we began

My family and I arrived at River's Edge RV Camp at 5 o' clock sharp! We all were very excited. The ladies in the front were extremely kind and helpful! The actual RV camp is trashy. The wifi doesn't work at all. Worst wifi ever, kids were devastated. It was as if they were diagnosed with cancer. Due to all the trees the satellite for television did not work either. This trip was worse than my grandmother dying and it left a horrible memory for our children of this vacation. Pitiful! I wish 0 stars was an option.

What a disappointment. We had called several days ahead to make reservations for two RV sites for one night as we were traveling with another couple. We were driving more than 500 miles that day but said we would be there before the office closed at five pm. We had to pay in full ahead of time and were warned several times that there would be no refunds if we didn't show up. We gave them our credit card and the names of both families.
When we arrived at four pm the office was closed and our instructions were on the front porch. They were for one RV instead of two, and foe two nights instead

We only stayed one night but the park was big and had a lot of great pluses. They have a big river for boating, play equipment for the little kids, horseshoes for the big kids, a huge field to play ball, basketball hoops, a big fire pit with lots of seating for the teens, and lots of room on their sites. There is a nature trail and the park is dog friendly. I didn't see a dog park but there is a lot of areas to walk your 4 legged family member. There is only one shower which has seen better days, but the bathroom was clean. A laundry room and they sell propane on site. If your not into
