Attended opening night of Silent Sky.
Director Jeffrey Brown, after selecting the cast stated "we have over 100 years of talent in this cast". And it certainly showed!
Tasha Remschel, Amy Goodyear, Heather Cunningham, and Jessica Strum I am still standing and applauding your outstanding performances.
Marcus Goodyear, the lone male in this ensemble stood up to the fine acting by these remarkable ladies to round out this cast of perfection.
Direction, set design and crew are all to be commended for their contribution to a night brighter than the constellations under which we live in awe.

Have been going to and enjoying this theater for many years. Have seen a wide variety of plays featuring some awesome local talent. The theater also offers different kinds of entertainment from outside the area, from singers to specialty acts. Very fortunate to have a theater of this caliber in our area.

When I moved to Kerrville, I had no idea what to expect; I certainly didn't think there would be a theater scene. There shouldn't be. The reason there is a theatre culture that flourishes and fulfills the need of so many of the city citizens is because of the work of Jeffrey Brown and the staff of Playhouse 2000.
I have performed on professional stages in three of our country's major cities. Mr. Brown's leadership, the board of Playhouse 2000, and the continued generosity of the Cailloux family create a fertilizer of theater culture you would see in cities whose budget far eclipse anything a town
