Home Carpentry Service has been a full service remodeling company in Fairfield County since 1984. Owner and professional craftsman Jim Willis has completed a very broad spectrum of projects across Connecticut-everything from small home projects to multi-million dollar design and construction projects.
Jim's experience with contracting and project management allow him to deliver the best service and high quality craftsmanship to each and every client. Now that the house is complete, I wanted to write to tell you how very pleased I was with the entire process. Having read lots of books and articles and talked to many people about the home building process, I had been prepared for the worst.

Now that the house is complete, I wanted to write to tell you how very pleased I was with the entire process. Having read lots of books and articles and talked to many people about the home building process, I had been prepared for the worst. However, what actually transpired was an almost perfect.example of how a house should be built.
We are a full service remodeling company. That means we specialize in everything from replacing doors or windows, all the way through complex new home construction. The most important aspect of Home Carpentry Service is the way we handle our projects-one at a time. We take on one project and see it through to completion before beginning any new work.

Jim Willis does an amazing job! His work for us has included both the design and execution of numerous projects for our home including new bathrooms, designing and building a pergola for our pool, and replacing doors and windows where needed. His workmanship is of the highest quality and he works neat, too! We live in a 1780 home in the woods in Connecticut and it takes a special artist to fill our needs. Jim exceeds all expectations. We have been very pleased for many years!

Working with Jim is an absolute pleasure! As we were told by our friends who recommended Jim, "You can't put Jim in a bad mood and you can't put him off schedule". We found both to be absolutely true!
We threw a laundry list of changes and additions at Jim and he still hit his planned completion date. Not to mention a lengthy list of additional fixes he took care of "just because he already had his ladder out".
We consider Jim a trusted friend, (with a considerable skill set :)
We won't be doing any projects in the future without his involvement.
