An oasis on the high desert of Southern Idaho, the River Ranch Retreat is a lovely spot along the Snake River. There are two fire pits, one at the river's edge and one on the lawn, both with lovely rock bench seating. Paths can be found around the property, which has a lot of mature trees for beauty and shade.
Feel free to wander and explore around the ranch. We try to keep a couple of paths mowed along the river for walking, but you may encounter tall grass and a bit of overgrown habitat. The River Ranch Retreat consists of a guest house and a cabin. It is located near King Hill, Idaho, 75 miles east of Boise and 50 miles west of Twin Falls.

We stayed in the cabin which has everything you need and is extremely comfortable. The view of the Snake River was wonderful to wake up to. We enjoyed walking around the grounds. The ranch is just beautiful. We stayed with our two dogs and it was no problem. Also, the cabin is a short drive into town and nearby state parks. We were traveling cross country to Florida for the winter, and when we return to Oregon, we hope to stay here again.

The house is by the river and you can go boating or kayaking from their dock. We had a BBQ right by the river and ate our dinner on the floating platform. From here, we went to Blue Heart Springs and 1000 Springs and Ritter Island.
The house is very artistic, we spent a couple of hours after arriving here to admire the decoration objects.

We had their first wedding there and Harry and his crew performed miracles. Great place, wonderful view of the river! Couldn't ask for a better place to have such a special event! They rent cabins that are very nice and quiet. An A++ if you want a quiet weekend with a great view or have another wedding, it's very nice!!!

Stayed at the Cabin and booked through AirBNB. Pam was an excellent host and the cabin was amazingly clean and well equipped with anything you would ever need. Amazing views of the Snake River literally a few feet in walking distance. Highly recommended and I would (and probably will soon) stay here again. Wonderful location and experience.

This is one of the coolest places I've ever stayed in. They have a couple individual cabins and a house that you can rent by the room. It's right by the Snake River. The property is part of the Snake River. So, you can go swimming and boating, and the people that own the place will outfit you for most outdoor activities. The owner is a wild artist, who spends most of her time sculpting and making giant chairs out of rocks. And, it's every bit as awesome as it sounds. It's lush and green because of the river, in an otherwise bleak part of Idaho. There's tons of wildlife all around, so it's an awesome
