Lousy hospital. You shouldn't take anyone there you care about. Been here over 6 hours with my wife over something simple as a painful boil. Watched a man start having a heartattack in the E.R. lobby because he was waiting to be seen for chest pains that lasted over a day. Woman coming to see her grandbaby that was sick had a stroke in parking lot.

If I could give zero stars I would. My mom had sepsis and covid at the same time. Due to having Covid she was not able to have visitors which I understand bit they used this as an excuse to mistreat my mother. She has bruises all over her arms and a place on her arm where her skin was ripped. The nurses did not help her. They told her she had to eat but then gave her food that looked undercooked. She has MS and therefore can not lay completely still all day without her muscles hurting to a degree where she can hardly walk. They would not help her get up or move positions. There was no reason that

Roane County Medical Center is Excellent!They have excellent, caring dr’s,nurses,and staff that are friendly and meet a patient where their needs are.
Their Dr’s,nurses, and staff intellect is top notch.They have the competence to handle any situation that is headed their way!
It is a very safe and happy environment!
I highly recommend them to anyone and your ER needs!

I visited the emergency room at 4:30 am on April 29. I had terrible stomach and lower back pain...kidney stones. The receptionist was so welcoming and understanding. Everyone was very professional and kind. Dr. Roger Brooksbank eased my mind and my pain. Thank you to everyone. I appreciate your hard work. We are so fortunate to have you in Roane County!
