Services
Celine and Patrick have spent their lives together working in union. From a surf hostel in Mexico, to a small permaculture farm in Seattle, together they have a wide range of skills and experience in food production, preparation, and hospitality. Both from small communities that have grown haphazardly over the years, they moved to Maine searching for a family oriented place to put down roots.
Our Mission is to serve seasonally-driven, artfully presented food, drink, and bakery items with friendly smiles and sincerity in Searsport, Maine. We strive to use the freshest produce, locally cured meats, and whole foods; prepared without additives and with expert detail. We are committed to sustaining local growers and food producers and are guided by ecologically- and socially-responsible food choices.

This is definitely my favorite place on the coast!
Quaint little cafe in a quiet town, food is tasty and reasonably priced! Little low on variety, but that's hardly a matter. Stop in for a coffee and walk down to the waterfront and watch the ocean, or stay in to grab a bite and enjoy a conversation with the very friendly staff and local regulars!

They just started serving dinner and it was a good choice for them and us. The outdoor seating is out back under a four gazebos zip tied together and nice and shady. I Great evening spot. Food was good and service was great. We had the burger and the Irish pasty. The crust was light and flaky and delicious. The stew has a slight sweet and tangy taste that was so good. Also had the Irish fries which were a tad too salty but regular fries weren't. Thankful to Ashleigh for fantastic service.

We live in Searsport, so having a cafe that serves the best coffee in the area, scrumptious baked goods and wonderful meals is a delightful experience. We celebrated our 20th Anniversary there, last night. It was like celebrating with family. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, including the blueberry pie with ice cream, and the ambiance was relaxing and fun. The Coastal Cafe is a community treasure!!

Went here for brunch one day and dinner another day. They still have a limited menu, but service was very prompt and friendly, and the food was very good. We tried pancakes, eggs, bagels, beef pasties and a chili-avocado burger. Thumbs up on all the food items.

The best breakfast I've ever had. Red potatoes smash melts in your mouth yet with a delicious crisp and flavor, the eggs are scrumptious, bread delicious and made from a local bakery, Homemade muffins scones and biscuits on the premises, bacon mmm mmm good, blueberry pancake loaded with blues, dark roast coffee smooth and rich in flavor, cheerful waitress Sam 🙎♀️

It's been too long since we were last here! We headed over this rainy morning for another great breakfast! Our first visit to the new location, fantastic! Homemade corned beef hash, cranberry toast, eggs, bacon and anadama toast all excellent. Great staff, and excellent atmosphere! Well worth the 40 minute drive.

Greeted with a smile as we walked through the door. They only had 3 seats at the bar but didn't mind. Offered either light or dark roast coffee. They also have so yummy looking bloody marys! Definitely will have to try one the next time I go. Breakfast was spot on! Delicious!! Multiple different breads to choose from. Gluten free options. The jam looked homemade(forgot to ask) and it was delicious!

If you're on the coast and want a good meal without paying Belfast prices, head to Searsport, the next town north. Not a quaint town but this place was super friendly. I had the captain's breakfast with French toast made from two different types of bread. Sandwiches looked great. Good service and would definitely eat there again. Just does breakfast and lunch though.

Wow what a gem this place is! The staff is exceptional-and the food is homemade, DELICIOUS, and artfully arranged every time! We have tried the breakfast sandwiches, scones, bagels, biscuits & gravy, and omelettes and have loved everything we have tried. We will continue coming here. Cozy and warm, and with outstanding food! My husband says, "best breakfast sandwich in Maine". The ambience is nice too...very hip but not so hip as to distract from the local atmosphere and beauty.

What a cute little breakfast and brunch spot in the quaint little town of Seaport. We were enroute back to Cambridge from Bar Harbor and the stellar Yelp reviews led us to Coastal Cafe. The food options are very unique with creative names and not to mention the food was delicious.
I ordered the "True Love" and we also got the "First Mate's Plate". The blueberry pancake was so good!! Not much more to say about that. The First Mate's Plate was an insane amount of food with a very aesthetic presentation. Everything from food to service was just great.

Stopped in because Patrick is a friend of a friend. Oh sweet Lord am I glad I did. First off, Patrick and Celine are sweet as can be. Second, they cook the stuff dreams are made of. I got the French Onion soup. Perfectly melted cheese top on the soup with a piece of bread underneath. I got a bread plate for $1.95 and it was a large platter of DELICIOUS focaccia. (Usually it's a baguette, but they were out.) My only regret with this place is that it's not closer to where I live. If you are in the area, go to Coastal Cafe and Bakery. Go now and go early. They sell out early for a good reason
