Ryan Collier is a Midland based Mid-Michigan wedding photographer. Primarily serving the Great Lakes Bay region - including Saginaw, Midland, Bay City, Mt. Pleasant and Frankenmuth - but willing to travel, with experience photographing weddings and engagement sessions all over Michigan. I'm a husband, a dad, and lover of everything outdoors.

I consider my style to be both a posed & candid style. Ryan recently photographed our wedding and we are over the moon on how all of the pictures turned out! Ryan did a fantastic job capturing some beautiful pictures with the fall colors for our wedding. He did a great job of taking pictures during the ceremony and reception seamlessly without being noticed.
It's my philosophy that you shouldn't have to plan your wedding around your photographers schedule. Its YOUR day, therefore coverage for all wedding commissions cover your arrival at the church through the formalities at your reception. All wedding collections also include an image disk of (edited) high resolution digital negatives.

Ryan is amazing! He did my engagement photos and my wedding in the past year and I couldn’t be happier. He is professional, but a joy to work with, and he communicated with me throughout the entire process (what photos I wanted, what he recommended, timelines, etc.). The quality of these photos and the moments he captured will forever help me remember the best day ever! (And he makes it fun!) I would recommend him to anyone!

Beautiful pictures! I really like photographers who give a little direction, and Ryan does that but then captures the lovey moments in between. I really liked our mix of "posed" and candid shots. The colors of his images are beautiful and he devotes his whole day to you- does not have a time limit! He was a great guy to work with and we love the results!

Ryan did an amazing job for our wedding! As flustered as I was the morning of the wedding, it was such a relief that my photographer was on top of things, capturing all of the shots with the groomsmen and then getting all the girls organized for our pictures. Ryan was very easy to work with, quickly responded to any emails and within one month of our wedding, we had our disc of images in hand. Everything turned out just beautifully we could not be happier with our choice to work with Ryan. 100% would recommend anyone to work with him for their special occasion!

Ryan from Collier studios was our photographer for our wedding at Dow Diamond in Midland, Mi. He was a pleasure to work with. Very flexible with meetings prior to the wedding and very detailed with photos the day of. He made the pictures quick and painless. He made did so much to make our day run smooth. The 5 stars does not give him enough credit. I can't say enough good things about him or his work. He is very professional, and a good guy. Can't recommend him enough. Ryan Collier was absolutely amazing on our wedding day! We've seen a preview of a few of our pictures and they look beautiful! He was very professional, took lots of photos (without consuming our whole day), and was very prepared. He scoped out the area before the day and was ready to go! I highly recommend Ryan!

Ryan was the best. He kept in contact with me beforehand to discuss my day-of schedule and was punctual and friendly throughout the hectic day! He has a great eye for beautiful shots that I didn't even think of, and listened to my suggestions for all the shots that I wanted. He was enthusiastic and kept getting genuine smiles from me even though my cheeks hurt from smiling all day long! I highly recommend him. Photography is one thing you should splurge on, it's worth every penny!
