Headphones: bring your tunes and we'll provide you with headphones so you can listen to music while in the chair. Dark shades to keep your eyes protected and blankets and neck pillows are available for maximum comfort. Nitrous Oxide: we provide nitrous oxide gas for patients who are nervous/fearful to help them relax during their visit.

Bonding is a popular method to enhance the aesthetics of your smile. I have been a patient of Dr. Berger's for years and I can honestly say that he is not just an amazing dentist, but an amazing person. Each time I come, I feel like I'm visiting family. Dr. Berger is very gentle with his dental work and keeps my teeth in pristine shape. Everyone who works at the office is great. Mary Ann is a (hilarious) treasure and Maria is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. If you need a dentist in the San Diego area, I definitely recommend Dr. Berger!

Most people Will not be looking for a new dentist via Yelp, however for those yelpers that look up reviews for any establishment, this is for you.
Dr. Berger took over when Dr. Shapiro retired. I had been with Dr. Shapiro since I was a small child and although no one likes dentist visits, Dr. Shapiro and his staff were amazing. Dr. Berger has not let me down and I will continue to see Dr. Berger even if that means driving an hour to my appts. Dr. Berger is so thorough and meticulous, yet works fast and with the utmost care! From cleanings, root canals and restorations, to teeth whitening and night guards - he does it all and does it so well. He makes night guards that are thin and very comfortable, yet get the job done. Very nice office staff and every visit is always a positive experience. Much recommended!

My mom came in for an extraction of her remaining maxillary teeth in order to prep her for a full upper denture. To make a long story short, it was not the easiest process for her. There were a few mishaps that came up due to my mom's rapid bone resorption post op. This led the denture to be very difficult when it came to its fit. Not only that, but the lab did not do a very good job with her denture esthetically... I came to this dental office a few years ago through my fathers insurance. Back than I had discoloration a couple of teeth and cavities I needed to get fixed. Had many appts and the doctor insisted on getting veneers on my front 3 teeth. My father asked how much it would be and he said $1,500.00 each. My father than agreed because he knew how uncomfortable I was with my smile and we started with the two front teeth. He put temps, than the "veneers" on. The color was completely different than the rest of my teeth, and I never went back. My father was so disappointed with the teeth he put

I found Dr. Berger on Yelp and decided to give this office a try for my 6-month checkup / teeth cleaning. I was very impressed by the level of service professionalism from his staff -- both Jan in the front office and MaryAnne, the dental assistant, were pleasant and helpful.
On my first visit, Dr. Berger noticed that my prior fillings from years ago were not doing well -- he recommended that I get the fillings replaced.
