We want to walk with you as you dip your toe into the swell of emotion or dive right into the depth of yourself. We begin where you are and move toward balance through your conscious connection with all levels of yourself. We work with you to gain insight and understanding about your life and offer tools to help you seek balance.
Our aim is to help you get to the underlying belief structures that are causing disturbances in your life. We want you to sink in and listen to your body. To that voice that has been silenced. To the space where YOUR truth lies. We welcome your struggles with body image, prenatal and postpartum issues, grief, anxiety, difficult transitions, mid-life challenges, motivation, and trauma.

I believe that while we cannot change the things that have happened in our past, we can use the information from our past experiences to help shape our present and future selves. I know that you are the expert on yourself. My role as your therapist is to provide space where you can make sense of and learn from the past to help you deepen your insight and knowledge of yourself.

It is great to see that you are here. One of the biggest steps is asking for support when we need it. I truly believe that therapy can be a healing process whether it is for things that occur day to day or heavier experiences we encounter. Working with teens, and young adults who have anxiety, panic attacks, and depression, I aim to provide support, active listening, and empathy to build a strong relationship for healing.
It is a great honor to have an opportunity to work with you. I know the journey to inquiring about help is not easy. If my experience taught me anything, the step towards addressing the barriers is often the most challenging. Your strength to engage in therapy brings me joy.
My position providing psychotherapy comes with the privilege of being part of so many journeys, lessons, and vulnerabilities I value this opportunity to participate in your life satisfaction and I genuinely believe that therapy improves the quality of your life - you deserve to achieve your goals! The place where you are is exactly where you need to start.

I am so glad you are here! It is a big step to ask for help, and you are in the right place! I come from a true place of knowing and understanding clients' pain and struggle. I have walked my own road and have found hope, joy, and meaning along the way. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling a glimmer of hope that your life can and will become more full of ease and peace.

Meg has created a wonderful safe and welcoming space. Breathing spaces hosts a variety of workshops ranging from different kinds of therapy to gain insight and move forward in ones life to yoga classes. Meg herself is a fearless, gentle leader and a patient, empathetic listener. She moves the world forward with her intense kindness and fierce love of humanity and human connection to ourselves and each other. Meg Tobin has created a context for the Experiential Therapies that is welcoming, safe, professional, and effective. She and her affiliates are top notch working with individuals, groups, and families. I am a colleague, mentor, and supervisor with years of experience and I am thrilled to hand the reins of this powerful work to practitioners like Meg.

The Breathing Space Studio is the perfect place for just about any gathering. It feels warm and inviting with windows that let in natural light. The space comfortably accommodates large groups, and still feels welcoming when the group size is smaller. There is even a cozy seating area with window seat that makes me want to cozy up with a cup of tea and a good book!

Meg Tobin has insight, intuition, and is brilliant at ferreting out the underlying issues and at brining you to new revelations that are life changing. I've spent 40 years off and on in therapy with no meaningful change or Insight and had given up hope for lasting change.... until Meg. She is gifted and is a life-long learner, always looking for new ways to reach people. Anything she offers or does is worth doing. She is endlessly inventive and has brought about much change and growth for me. She is trauma informed so she's been there and back to help us find our way out.

Well, it was pretty good. I really liked her style of working. However, I told her about another medical diagnosis and then she, out of the blue, decided that she couldn't work with me anymore. She said that she doesn't work with people like me. It was really messed up. I hadn't done anything wrong. There was no warning. She just called me after I sent her some additional information on my history and told me that I couldn't work with her anymore - that she didn't have time for someone like me. I didn't know that kind of thing was even ethical, under her license. Still trying to deal with the shame
