Sara grew up on Long Island, NY where she attended Stony Brook University to pursue a BA in Psychology. After college, Sara lived in Florence, Italy for two years where she studied culinary arts and hospitality management. After returning to the US, she moved to Raleigh, NC to work for her family concrete business, Capital Ready Mix Concrete, where she still serves as Chief Financial Officer.
In 2017, Sara founded Capital Dumpster Service alongside her father, James. Since 2017 she has served as CEO and has been responsible for Capital's growth, operations and long term strategy. Sara is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Duke University and plans to graduate in December of 2020. James grew up on Long Island, NY where he found his passion for entrepreneurship.
