Use of our cabins is by reservations only. Like any popular vacation resort, or motel, it's always a good idea to book your reservations early! The Wild Asaph cabin is 17 miles from the town of Wellsboro. Located in the country / "boonies." Do not rent this cabin if you do not like being in the woods and away from civilization.
We enjoyed our vacation very much, the cabin was very nice and cozy, and has everything you would ever need. Wellsboro is a very nice little town, with lots of neat stores to shop in, and some good eating places. I would recommend this type of vacation to people of all ages, there is something for everyone.
We are NOW accepting reservations for our "in town" Guest House, The Last Lantern Guest House. This is a great place for couples weekend, ladies or men's retreat. Family vacation. Leave your car parked in the driveway all weekend and walk to all in town restaurants and shopping. Everyone loved it. It is clean, comfortable, homey atmosphere with lots of character in the house itself as well as the decor'.

Great location! In town but still far enough away to disconnect from a busy life style. Highly recommend for some R&R!

We had a wonderful time on a very clean, well-maintained property. The area is breathtaking and our particular rental had a stream running through it that my kids loved.

Very warm and welcoming. Clean and obviously well kept and cared for. Nice location for exploring downtown Wellsboro which is a quaint little town surrounded by beautiful mountains. Lots of space to just stretch out and enjoy.

The Last Lantern is a great place to stay in the quaint town of Wellsboro. It’s location along the main road affords ease to walking around the town instead of driving. If you are interested in the downtown Wellsboro experience with it various shoppes and eateries then this guest house is the
place where you want to book your stay. The Last Lantern is nicely furnished and has a full modern kitchen also for those home cooked meals while away from home. The 2 full bathrooms easily accommodates larger groups also. My family of 4 has always enjoyed our stays here and we’ve had 4 or 5 at this location

Beautiful house - tons of room. Very clean - great location to walk to town (1/2 mile). Only odd thing was no outside garage can/bin - we had to keep on back porch so then we couldn't sit on porch- definitely go again since family had a good time

This use to my grandma’s house back in 1999 and I spent a lot of time here. The house looks amazing but very different from what I remember.
