Zermeo Dance Academy is a unique and diverse performing arts studio, under the direction of Daniela Zermeo. With over 120 students and counting, ZDA specializes in flamenco. The studio participates heavily in Santa Barbara's annual Old Spanish Days Fiesta celebration, as well as theater productions throughout California, public events, parades, restaurant entertainment and private events such as weddings, fundraisers and corporate events.
Students ages range from 2 years to adults, all ages and levels are welcome! Like its Director Daniela, Zermeo Dance Academy has a youthful staff of 7 dance instructor, all of which are members of the ZDA Company and train under Daniela. Zermeo Dance Academy's goal is to give each student a solid dance foundation while offering a fun and positive atmosphere to teach our students responsibility, commitment and creative expression.

Services
Zermeo Dance Academy instructors reserve the right to place students in the appropriate class based on their age and skill level. We will do our best to work with each dancer/parent to choose the most appropriate class for their level. Dancers must have 3-4 years experience to be considered "Intermediate/Advanced". Years of dance experience does not always determine a dancers level.

My daughter danced for them for almost a decade. But it's just sad that they chose money over actual years danced. Just sad because for many years this studio actually cared about the kids but in the last 3/4 years it's really changed. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILDS SELF CONFIDENCE AND DONT WANT THEM TO BE BULLIED. Don't come here. Sorry Zermeno you will not take my money anymore.

Zermeño Dance Academy is the best dance studio my daughter has attended. She loves and enjoys practicing there. The instructors are very welcoming and they like to challenge all students. Daniela and Danny (ZDA owners) are very professional and communicate well with all of the parents. Prices are reasonable and worth it. I would definitely give them 10 stars!!!

First dance group I put my daughter in and I couldn’t be happier and she is going in her fourth year with Daniela. We were welcomed with open arms by everyone from the very beginning. My daughter has learned so much from her teachers and built friendships with her fellow dancers, that I’m sure will last a lifetime.

My daughter came from another dance studio. In the few years she has been with ZDA her confidence has grown and truly has a passion for dance.
All the instructors are professional. Daniella has the respect of all the dancers and gets along with all. They really are proud to have her as a mentor.
I would recommend ZDA to any dancer young and old.

I would only recommend this studio if youre looking for drop in base class. The teachers are young students themselves. In the few months I was there I'd notice my daughters teacher checking her phone throughout class and breaks would last from 5 to 15 minutes since they tend to chat alot. Management is incredibly rude and unprofessional, it's was horrible experience dealing with the office manager. Example I was told I would be receiving refund in the mail it's now been over 5 wks nothing yet no responses to emails or returning calls. Very unprofessional management. Only plus to
