Our mission is to save you money and provide peace of mind by offering the highest caliber tax and business advisement services. Neves Tax Service officially began in 1978, after learning that as a restaurant dish washer working in Imperial Beach making below minimum wage, I was paying a higher effective income tax rate than former president Ronald Reagan.
Year-round income tax preparation, IRS/State tax representation, tax planning, and small business consultation. At this time we specialize in small business/self-employed, military/law-enforcement, and real estate investment returns. While tax preparation is our specialty, previous knowledge and experience in other fields such as real estate and loan origination puts us in a unique position to assist our clients.
If traveling on South Bay Expressway (SR 125 toll road) to office, please note the approximate charge is $2.50 each way ($5.00 total). There is no attendant at the automated pay station (stop & pay), and only exact change/credit card is accepted (no change dispensed). We recommend bringing spare change if using cash.
Clients calling after the first week of February (2/7-2/15) can reasonably expect a two-week wait period between call and appointment time. Calls later in February into March and April (2/15-4/15) should realistically expect longer wait periods. Much of the year's work is done in a short period of time, and the above scheduling guidelines ensure quality control and maximum time per return during tax season.

Jose and his son did a great job of accommodating us for convenient appointment times and the right amount of time to get our returns done correctly and fast. They do our personal and business taxes. We were able to get our refunds before the end of February 2020. They are friendly and show great concern for our questions and have earned our confidence with their professional operation.
