Services
Founded by our pharmacists Nnodum and Nnenna Iheme in 2009 after chain pharmacy stores closed their doors to the residents of West Dayton, ZIKS covers a critical healthcare need for Metro Dayton. The greatest deficit that Nnodum and Nnenna recognized was that the elderly population in West Dayton could not fill medication and home medical equipment prescriptions in their own community.
There is a reason why ZIKS Family Pharmacy has been around for years. Obviously, the reason lies in our Staff. Because we are a company serving the needs of people, we always pay close attention to keeping the human-factor in our services. Our staff of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians has your best interest at heart.
ZIKS Family Pharmacy offers a customized packaging solution to help our patients take the right medications, at the right dose, at the right time--every time! The ZIKSPAC dispensing box allows a quick and easy method for caregivers to verify that the last dose was taken. Perhaps you are a busy traveler - or your children must take medication at school.

COVID vaccine appointments made at the pharmacy are actually at Mount Enon down the street. (The pharmacy isn't even open when morning appts start, and there's no mention of this in the emails and no signage.) Expect a 45 min-hour wait (at the correct location). They will give you the consent forms in the parking lot (not in an email before the appointment, as the initial confirmation says.)
However, I got the vaccine, yay! So that makes up for a lot.

Today I am very dissapointed In Ziks. I had called about 11am and requested about 5 medication one of which was my insulin. Ask for them to call so I could pay with card. Didn't hear a peep. Called back at just before 5pm to find out the cost. They were not ready, the woman on the phone was very rude to me I hung up on her. Shame Ziks.

Terrible service. I went here for diabetic shoes and had a special boot on. Right away, each girl indicated that they hoped I could get the boot off and on by myself because they were unwilling to help. Fortunately I could because I could not get out of the boot till I got the shoes, something they should be used to. It was as if they wanted people to come with no problems in order to be sized and try on the shoes
They proceeded to measure my foot and came up with a size and a half bigger than I normally wore for one foot. Without telling me much, they ordered that size. They also never called

Pharmacist extremley rude! Acted like he was doing others a favor the whole time talking down to people on the phone. Wont step a foot in here again with a rude pharmacist like that on staff. I never even ended up giving the rx to them when you see how they treat others i would rather wait longer and be treated better at a large pharmacy.

I switched to Zik's from Walgreen's because the route to my new job requires me to pass Zik's each day. Otherwise, I had not visited Zik's before. My two prescriptions were called in two days before I stopped by Zik's. One of the assistants behind the counter had one prescription ready. When I asked about my other prescription, she said there wasn't another prescription. I asked her again only to have her tell me, in a very curt and abrupt manner, it was in their system after all and I had to wait 20 minutes. I had to go to my second job so I told them I would

I am blown away with the level of customer service at this pharmacy. They truly care about their patients and do a lot in the community to make it a healthier place! I love their annual Customer Appreciation Day Event where they have a lot of great entertainment, free food and lots of free health screening and local physcians talking on different health related topics.

Very friendly staff. The biggest problem, who I am assuming, is the owner/manager of the pharmacy, unfortunately. I witnessed a very unprofessional conversation between him and my insurance provider rep. He cared more about "losing money" and "giving his house and possessions" (literal words) to the insurance company than honoring the contract between his pharmacy and this particular insurance company. It was very embarrassing to listen to. And I only got to the bottom of the issue (which I spent a good 35 min at the pharmacy trying to get some answers, to no avail) until my
