DONT WASTE TIME I tried to utilize this business to gently tan and up my vitamin D etc and they were trying to force me into an expensive fancy bed claiming it detects my skin". I am an experienced tanner and an adult and I know exactly how much sun I need or dont! When I asserted and asked to please stay with a regular bed the girl claimed she'd force some mandate that I not be allowed in longer than 8 minutes or "she would get fired " she claimed! I replied that I am a free adult and can control my own sun exposure and thanks for her input although I had not tanned there, I had tanned elsewhere

Around 2003 is when Jimmy bought the tanning salon and I have been going there several years prior to that so I have been going to this tanning salon for/over 20 years. Yes, over 20 years!! I guess I might be the oldest customer or close to it. 😳😳😳 Oh my! It has always been great, bulbs always getting changed and trust me, I would know if they were not. He is constantly maintaining something. You could not ask for a better set up. So much more than tanning to offer, Jimmy has done one heck of a job and I appreciate him and his staff. Thank you!

Love this place! Been a member for unlimited spray tanning for over a year now and am very happy. The staff is friendly, and they keep the place extremely clean (even pre-Covid pandemic). Affordable ans a great value for your money - and they just added unlimited POLY LED treatments to the monthly membership which is a HUGE VALUE and AMAZING BENEFIT. 10/10 Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Best tanning salon in the Sandhills! Professional, knowledgeable staff and large selection of beach apparel make this salon significantly better than most others, including the large chains. I've lived in many places throughout the US and have patronized quite a few salons. The Islands is clearly the best of the bunch.
