Melissa is a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where she received a degree in Elementary Education. She has more than 10 years experience as an educator of K-5 children in Wilmington, NC and in Asheville, NC. When the business planning began, her twins were 2 months old, the oldest child was nearly 4, and she was staying at home.
