Services
Green Barn grows the following items on our 100 acres of field production available in season. We accept orders for cases of many items and will notify you when they are available for those interested in canning, freezing, or for special events. Please call to inquire about ordering pears, corn, tomatoes, pickling cucumbers, green beans, beets, Colorado peaches, and carrots by the case/large bag.
We are looking forward to seeing you this upcoming holiday season and helping you deck your doorstep with beautiful, easy care evergreen planters and wreaths. New this season will be our evergreen decorating bar that will allow more flexibility and compliance than our usual workshops gave us. Guests will pre-register for a time slot to allow adequate supply and avoid overcrowding.
Creating evergreen patio planters is the most popular activity. We have a workshop format where you will insert the greens after a demonstration and then decorate your creation. If you prefer just do decoration a planter that is pre-greened, we also have a decorating bar format without a formal demonstration.
We had almost 20 different food trucks visit over the month on weekends primarily. We added live music, a large tent with benches to enjoy music and food. We had over 20 props throughout the field that we moved from crop to crop each week as blooming changed. It was a fun sunflower season! We have grown sunflowers for over 25 years along with many other field crops.

The green barn garden center has lovely sunflower fields that are accessible for $6 per person. the fields are located across the highway from the garden center. the fields are planted in succession so there are flowers blooming for weeks. we had a wonderful time and got some great pictures. it is a dirt path so wear proper shoes (especially if it were to rain) there are many props throughout to provide wonderful photo opportunities. it is a but of a long walk if you walk the entire thing but it is worth it. there are sunflowers for sale at the gate (low pollen variety and gorgeous!) there are

Wow wow wow is all I can say!!! So beautiful, it stopped me in my tracks yesterday driving down the road! We had to come back tonight because I had groceries. I’ve never seen anything like this before and the views are just breath taking! It put me in tears it was so beautiful! Thank you all for your hard work and sharing with the public. $6 is well worth the price for admission. Got some amazing photos today. So much better than a corn maze! Our son absolutely loved it!

I tried doing a few photo shoots out here in 2019 and completely missed the bloom and then last year... well we all know about that year. This year I was finally able to enjoy the fields and get 7 shoots in! I've looked at other fields in the state and none of them compare to Green Barn. The fields were absolutely beautiful, staff so nice and friendly, and the way they had every weekend set up this year was perfect for not only a small photographer like me but for families too! I will be making this my go-to spot for years to come!
