While we would like to suggest scheduling a family session annually, we know that regularly scheduled portrait sessions may be difficult for some.
So the last year flew by and your baby is turning one! A cute (and messy) way to celebrate this important milestone is a Cake Smash Photography Session! A Smash Cake is a type of cake made specifically for a baby to "smash, " eat, and play with on or around his or her first birthday. A Cake Smash (or Smash Cake) Photo Session is a type of baby photography that captures this event.

Mike & Corine are amazing! I took maternity photos with my husband, and neither of us enjoy posing for photographs much, but they made us feel so comfortable & relaxed. We had a lot of fun during the shoot because of Mike & Corine, and the photos turned out great! I didn't expect to like photographs of myself pregnant so much. They were just so beautifully done. We are so grateful to them for the wonderful photographs we have to remember this special time of life.

I had the best experience with this company! My daughter did her newborn photoshoot with them and they made us feel so welcoming and comfortable. My husband and I had a specific vision for her shoot and they were so involved in coordinating outfits and backdrop ideas. They gave her mini breaks, and soothed her if she was fussy. They were so attentive and patient with our daughter. Our friends and family loved her photos and I definitely recommend them to anyone!

Definitely worth the price. We used Lin and Jirsa for our wedding and so we were so pleased with outcome we wanted to be able to use them for for our family pictures. They were extremely accommodating when our son had pink eye the day before the photo shoot and we were able to reschedule. Even more the photographer, Nick, was knowledge, professional, and talented. Our family pictures came out wonderfully and we could not be happier with the product.

I love the team at Line and Roots! My maternity photos were amazing and my newborn photos were beyond any expectations! Seriously, looking at the photos that they helped create/capture makes me want to be pregnant and have a ton more kids. But I think I'll settle for looking at the photos and daydreaming instead. No joke people, if you are into having amazing photos taken, leave it up to this amazingly talented team. Corine, Liz, April and Michael will make you look like goddesses and your babies, well, little angels. I would give them 10 stars if it was an option! Highly recommend!!!

We had a happy experience with Liz and her team!
The shooting is in Laguna Beach and it's little bit challenge to bring the baby from LA to OC. We are nervous since the baby is hungry and tired. But Liz and her team are very professional and extreme patience.
We are end with beautiful photos for the whole family and cute pictures for the baby. Really good experience and we will definitely come back for future family shootings.

As a new mom, I was stressed out about the baby's feeding schedule, how is he going to be when he's crying during the photoshoot and all those diaper changes???? We had a mini-photo session with Liz and Corine for our family photos. We had a long drive before the session, so when we arrived, our little one (3 yo) was cranky and uncooperative. We only had a little time left, as it was the last session of the day and we were losing light. Liz and Corine were very patient and was able to get a few smiles out of our little crankster and we ended up with lots of great pics! They did an awesome job and we were so happy with our pics - just in time for holiday cards. We look forward to lots more family pics with Line and Roots!

We had such a wonderful maternity photoshoot with Corine and Brandon. The pictures turned out magnificent and they both were so attentive to the look we were looking for and each and every detail. They were very flexible with their schedule and amazing in having me go through the photography session seamlessly at 36weeks. They have a very nice selection of maternity dresses to chose from that really add to the look of the maternity shoot. I would highly recommend them!

So they recommend that you get them done within the first 2 weeks of being born so that baby is easier to work with (basically sleeps thru the whole thing). And it was my first time wearing makeup and leaving the house since he was born so it was kind of a hectic morning but from the moment we stepped through the doors into the studios it was smooth sailing. They had a changing table and a bunch of swaddles/baby wraps so everything

After Lin and Jirsa Photography did such an amazing job with our wedding photography and videography, it was only a matter of time before we returned to the company's subsidiary Line and Roots Photography for our newborn session. The Line and Roots team were expert handlers of our newborn and demonstrated extreme patience when our baby was fussy. We were able to use the studio's props and bring our own.
