North Alabama Audiology began in 1960 with hearing instrument specialists and evolved into an audiology only practice in 1981. We are locally owned and operated, giving us the flexibility and freedom to meet the needs of our patients. Services
Charles has been practicing audiology since 1973. He holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Charles received his bachelor's degree from the University of North Alabama and his master's degree in audiology from the University of Alabama.
Your hearing care starts with an evaluation so complete that many area physicians and specialists send their patients to us whenever a hearing evaluation is needed. Your testing will determine if you can benefit from a hearing aid, and we offer almost every brand, model, and type of hearing aid available.

Mr. Charles Taylor, Audiologist, has guided me thru at least 4-5 sets of hearing aids in ~30 years. He and his office staff have always been helpful, kind, timely, and professional.
Mr. Taylor seems to keep up with the latest trends and hearing aid technology. He will clean all hearing aids, tubes, ear molds, microphone screens and filters.
All hearing aids need, capital letters 'need', to be checked at least yearly. It's surprising how much dust, debris plug up sound, and decrease the effectiveness of a hearing aid.
He often has hearing aid battery sales, and these batteries last much longer
