The cabins are located one mile past the Grand Isle FISHING Bridge on Highway 1 to your left. Across the highway from the beach. For over a century Grand Isle, The Cajun Bahamas has been home to Louisiana's premier fishing resort community, and access to a rich range of fishing tournaments, fresh seafood, and public beaches.

And located in the heart of this Louisiana fishing mecca on Louisiana's only inhabited barrier island is Sun & Sand Cabins. Featuring 6 cabins with 2 private bedrooms, sleeps 6 people comfortably. Our 2 bedroom cabins has a full size bed in each bedroom & 2 single beds in the living area. Each cabin has a patio & picnic table, furnished kitchens with adjoining living area, full baths, central A.C./heat & DirecTv with sport channels.

Make Your Cabin RESERVATION Report

Deposit/Payment - Immediately after placing reservation you will receive a Confirmation E-Mail. If reservation is same day - you will shortly receive another E-Mail with payment link after the confirmation E-Mail. Full payment is due by E-Check or credit card (Preferred method is E-Check due to additional merchant charges for credit cards, but both methods are accepted).

Golf Cart/ G.I. Info /Weather Report

The operator of the golf cart/UTV must be at least 16 years old and must have a valid drivers license. 2. The golf cart/UTV will carry only the allotted passengers that it is built for.

3.) Anyone who wishes to operate a golf cart/UTV on the Grand Isle beach must purchase beach access tag at a cost of $75.00 per year, which tag can be purchased at the Police Station(3101 Highway 1) from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Tag must be visible on golf cart/UTV on front driver's side.

Good simple cabins not the ritz. Stayed 3 days for fishing . Good place to drink a beer and chill after day of fishing.

Very nice cabins at a very good price. Pleasantly found the cabin so well maintained that it appeared to be new. It was stocked minimally but had all of the essential items. It was very comfortable and clean and the air conditioner worked very well. I recommend and will use them again.

Simple, clean and fairly priced. About all you can ask of a Island vacation cabin. Beach is across the road. Access is a short walk. Two grocery stores on the Island now. A couple of cafes and a couple of nicer resterants. Also several taverns. Artie's is the main hangout. Three marinas.

Has been a while since ive been down to the island. But seeing grand isle on todays news brought back many fond memories. This is the only place we rent when comming to the island. Always clean, friendly and peaceful.

Another place we had the pleasure of visiting in Grand Isle. Clean, fun and absolutely worth staying at. Your family will be comfortable, you’ll get that hometown feel and you will definitely want to come back. Close to the beach and fine dining or just a jump to the nearest club. Friendly staff and plenty of amenities. A great place for any family to stay. Definitely recommend.

Very nice and clean. The owner and maintenance/Steve took care of a little issue ASAP. The bed squeaked every time I turned over but it’s not a deal breaker. I will definitely stay again!!

We stay at Sun and Sand Cabins every year. The rooms are so clean and the location I convenient to everything else on the island. The staff see so helpful if you need anything at all. We always have a great time and a pleasurable experience when we stay here.

It's where I stay in grand isle. Fish cleaning room and all the things neccessary to boil your own seafood. They even supply the propane. All you need is your seasoning and your seafood to boil. Sitting downstairs eating crabs and shrimp with the gulf breeze is a perfect weekend.

Definitely would recommend sun & sands. Everything was so convenient. The owner aimed to pleased and solved any problem quickly and was very friendly. Cabins are very clean. Boiling pots and fish cleaning station on site which was awesome!
