John began servicing my irrigation system about a year ago. This was after the original installer quoted me a ridiculously high number to replace several sprinkler heads. Additionally, I knew my backflow valve needed to be replaced. To that end, the original installer told me they no longer support the backflow valve that I have and it needed to be upgraded. Again, the quoted price to procure and install the upgraded backflow valve was one that I did not accept. I saw John working on a neighbor’s irrigation system and asked him to take a look at my system and provide a quote to repair these items

Don't Bother Scheduling. This vender won't keep a meeting. Even though you give them a second chance and rescheduled, they will continue to let you down. In my case, I needed them to do a winterization of my irrigation system and twice they failed to show up or even respond to the missed appointment.

John and Ian are great! I’ve had them out several times over the years to help expand my irrigation system and they do a great job. Both are professional and hard working and great value. I know they get slammed as we head into winter with winterizing systems, but they’ve always followed up and taken care of the job. I plan to have them back next year to add another zone. Would recommend them to anyone.

I had a 7 zone system installed in summer of 2019. John never got back to me to winterize my system. I called all numbers on website, Google, even Johns cell. Texted, emailed and he still never got back to me. He’s unprofessional, don’t use him. What’s the point of a 5 year warranty that he’ll only honor if he does all the services to your system, but then he doesn’t pick up or come do your services?? What a buster. John, I called you over 25 times. I finally gave up, started using a different company and they’ve showed up every time to turn on or cut off my system

I had my Sprinkler system installed in 2018. The installation was done well and promptly. There is supposed to be a 5 year warranty on the installation and products. One of my zones has sprung a leak and I have been trying to reach John for assistance with remediation for many months now, without any success.

John is one of the best. I have had some really lousy sprinkler system personnel in the past and feel lucky that I found John Roy. He has been maintaining my system for the past couple of years. John knows what he is doing, is honest, and a pro. I called him this November (2021) to go and turn off my system. I had completely forgotten that I had never turned it on. John went there, verified that it was off and would not charge for his visit either. His prices are excellent too when he sets up anything. I only hope he doesn't retire soon.

John never showed up to complete the paid winterization turn off service last November. After contacting him and establishing a new appointment date, John never showed. After 20 emails and 20 phone calls, John answered neither my emails nor phone calls. I have not received a refund for the service I paid for. Very disappointed after using his services for several years. Be cautious of paying him in advance as he has proven himself untrustworthy based on my experience. From one veteran to another, beware. I have reported the incident to the BBB.

Scheduled an appointment beforehand for JWR to winterize our sprinkler system today, pretty simple ask. At this point they're almost 3 hours late, and have yet to call back after leaving messages. Unless they rectify, this review stands and you should be careful trusting them to show up. Severely disappointed given they were a referral from neighbors.

We had a great experience with JWR Sprinklers. John came to our house on a Sunday to provide an initial estimate (just a day after contacting them) and completed the work within a week. Very responsive, professional and communicated the status of the job well. We will use them again for any repairs or maintenance needs for our sprinkler system.

Did a good job installing my sprinkler system for a fair price. But the process to arrange the install was very difficult. Voicemail is constantly full and never returned phone calls. Expect to have to chase John. Needed some emergency work on my system and they never returned my calls despite me making multiple attempts via phone, text, and email. Won't even acknowledge my need, provide an explanation of their situation, and work out a time to support me. Basically, JWR was rude and stood me up even though I was a customer. With that kind of service, I recommend going somewhere else.

i called JWR and John scheduled a time that suited both of us for a free estimate visit. On his arrival, he spent time talking with me to learn about my problem and offered solutions. his years of experience and knowledge was apparent.
a couple weeks later. John and his team showed up to do the work,
they took pride in their workmanship. and did the job professionally ,
the job was done right, you could not tell that the ground they dug up was disturbed.
i would not hesitate to recommend JWR Sprinklers.

I put off doing sprinklers for years because of the cost. John came, gave me a fair quote, and installed the following week. They got everything done in a day. The yard looks well put back together. He set up 6 zones of sprinklers on a rachio phone based app and they work great! I highly recommend them, I should have done this years ago!!!

I called several top-rated irrigation companies on a Friday afternoon after discovering the main water line to my sprinkler system had broken somewhere and was flooding my front garden. It wasn't an emergency, but I wanted it fixed quickly, hopefully without needing to be home during the week. JWR was the only company who offered to come out the very next day (a Saturday) to diagnose and repair.
John called in advance to let me know when he would arrive, which was very close to the time he estimated the day before. He dug down into the garden until he found the cracked pipe, repaired it

I was extremely grateful for JWR's ability to assess my sprinklers within a short timeframe. I had two other sprinkler companies delay the assessment for almost two weeks. JWR had my system running the same day I called them and returned on a "SUNDAY" to complete the repairs in time to save my lawn and without me delaying my departure for vacation. I hope that my sprinklers don't break anytime soon but if they do I know who to call.

Called JWR Sprinklers for after winter service for our sprinkler system and was able to schedule appointment for the next day. John who arrived on time, was very nice and knowledgeable. He even help me to figure out why the water pressure was low in one of our outside faucets. The price is reasonable too. Turned out he has been servicing our house with the previous owner for many years. We will be using his service on a regular basis. Thank you
