We use to live just down the block from there. Now I have since moved away from Hastings and every chance I get I have to go to Tom's Market for their beef sticks.

If you haven't been hear, you need to make the time and take the drive. Small Town market with some unique items in it. The prize is the meat market. If you try nothing else from them, try their selection of fresh meats and you have to try their homemade selection of flavorful brats. Hometown feel, home time service and all smiles. Worth it.

It was wonderful! The ride there from Otsego was absolutely beautiful! Alot of big lakes! The associates at this store were outstanding! Very nice and neatly dressed. All were wearing masks.My first time shopping for meats at this place,,I am for sure going back! The prices were just about the same as around here, if not a little cheaper!! Fresh quality meats in here!!

Yes yes yes! This is the place you want to go for speciality butcher meats and fun snacks like cheese and olives. Whether you're on your way home and want some good grub for the grill, or going tubing along the Thornapple River with your pals, this is the place to stop and get those meat sticks, cheeses, dips, beer, etc. Do yourself a favor and check them out, even if you're just rolling through on your way to another destination.

The fact that they buy into and proudly share propaganda regarding protective measures against COVID-19 tells you all you need to know.
They value "freedom" over protecting themselves and the public against a deadly virus. They are not basing operational decisions in public health facts, but rely on misinformation.
Also I'll never forget being a kid and in there with my parent and seeing an ant crawling around the meat section. Avoid it.

This is my favorite childhood store! The meats are amazing and the bundles are such a good deal. They have candies for incredibly cheap (which is why I loved it as a kid) and there is such a big selection with grocery. They also have the testers and if those don't make you want to buy some meat, I don't know what will.

Tom's is our only choice for meat in Hastings/Barry County. Fresh and high quality, delivered across an old school butchers case, always with a smile! Custom/bulk cutting options! These folks know their stuff. Check out the in house smoked jerky and cheeses for a special treat! Always have whatever you need to go along with it too.

This place is old school all the way. It's what an old butcher shop is supposed to be like. They make their own smoked meats, and they are fantastic.
This place is nestled cozily into a little residential neighborhood on the Blue Collar side of town, just like it's supposed to be. I love everything about the place. The meat selection is top quality and the service is always like a step back to 1945.
