We are the oldest car club in Kingsport, TN. In 2009 we celebrated our 35th Anniversary. We are a non-profit organization. Our membership generally averages around 70 members. Club members' cars include antiques, street rods, 50's and 60's mild customs and classics. You do not have to actually own a car to be a member, although most are expecting to own or build a rod, custom, etc.
We meet once a month, on the second Thursday, at Golden Corral Restaurant on Eastman Rd. Most members eat at around 6:30 p.m., and the meeting starts as soon as the meal is finished. After the meeting we move to the parking lot for lengthy bs'ing, and bench rod building. Our major activities each year are our annual Benefit Cruise-In and Wilderness Trail Rod Run.
