Tucked away in a quiet Gold Country valley is Dodasa Ranch. Dodasa Ranch is located on 272 acres in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains, in Calaveras County, which is steeped in rich Gold Rush history. Legend has it, that a stage coach route actually ran right through Dodasa Ranch. And some locals tell the tale of a stage coach held up by bandits who buried the stolen strongbox containing the loot somewhere on the property.
We're still looking for the buried treasure! While living in the city we had dreams of raising our daughter in a rural setting where she could ride her horse, climb trees and explore the world. So we escaped to the country, and never looked back. Dodasa Ranch is owned and operated by the Parker family since 2002.

Attened a downsized family wedding on the hottest day of the year and it was outdoors starting at 4:30 PM. The staff provided personal umbrellas, site umbrellas and cold water and kept checking on everyone was OK. Dinner was good and again the staff made sure everyone was masked until eating, hydrated and fan cooled. Ended up being a beautiful evening even with the heat.

Great place to go with the family in spooky season! The admission fee to go into the fun area is just 5 bucks. I volunteered for a weekend and it was a great experience. The pumpkin patch is open Saturday and Sunday from 10/16-10/31 2020. It’s open from 10-5 on Sat and 10-4 on Sun. The admission comes with the hayride, petting zoo, giant slide, hoppy balls, tire pyramid, and cow train. You can buy extra tickets for other things like panning for gemstones, and the mechanical bull. While I was volunteering, we had quite some help during the morning, but around noon-5 we didn’t have much help

My son and (now) daughter paid a deposit and two payments for their wedding scheduled May 18, 2020. Due to businesses being shut down due to COVID, Dadosa could not provide any services. My kids understood that the inability of Dadosa Ranch to provide the arranged services was NOT the fault of the business and that the situation was out of everyone’s control. My kids also knew that neither they (nor the venue) had revoked any part of the contract created between the two parties.
The owners of Dadosa Ranch seemed reasonable (at first) offering an alternative date. However, my kids had arranged

Our wedding day was October 6th, 2018. Choosing Dodasa as the place to have our wedding was the best and easiest decision that we had to make during this process. I wanted a beautiful wedding that looked flawlessly executed... but I didn't want to worry or stress over contributing to the flawless execution.
Jessica was our coordinator and she was amazing. She clicked with us right away and I felt that she totally knew the direction I was heading in for style and plans. She helped me get a pinterest board that she would follow, and I was free to start pinning away. The day of our trial she had

Many items were promised and not delivered. Beautiful venue, amazing cabins but detail detail detail that our daughter wanted was not there as mentioned and noted would be.
Sure maybe the guest didn't notice but our daughter did and she is and was the most important on this day, it was her day and she can not stop thinking about what it was to look like verses what it did look like . Not looking to bash venue just be sure before $30,000 plus is put out that you are ok with your day just not being what you envisioned ,

Our wedding was absolutely amazing!! The decor, the food, and the hospitality was all great. All our guests had a wonderful time, and everyone that stayed in the cabins loved them. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Don and Dawn for making our wedding weekend so great!
