Below are several maintenance and tips videos to help you enjoy your Scamp Trailer for many years. Never allow people or pets to travel inside your Scamp trailer when traveling down the road. Do not exceed posted speed limits and remember that most states have different speed limits for trailer. Take extra precautions when traveling on wet or snowy surfaces or with high winds.

The basic design is good, or Scamp wouldn't have been around since the 60s, and the concept of a light molded fiberglass camper that is easy to tow is a good one. But I couldn't recommend the company, as the workmanship on our 2018/19 Scamp 16 was really hit and miss, and it didn't come quite as advertised. The strike lock for the main door wasn't in the right place, so the door had to be duct taped half way through a 1,000-mile trip, as it continually popped open. The microwave was half falling out upon delivery. The screws for the control panel missed the needed joint.

Last week I drove almost 1400 miles and over 20 hours one way to pick up my new Scamp 19" 5th wheel camper. I ordered it sight unseen after many hours of research on light campers. I spoke with Jim on multiple occasions and finally paid the $500 down, which I think is a very small amount to get a camper built to my specs. They promised a date in December but delivered weeks early. My friend who has a much larger camper calls my Scamp "Peanut" due to its contoured shape. The name has sort of stuck.
