Sumter Hearing Associates was opened as a private practice audiology clinic in 2001 in order to serve Sumter and surrounding counties. We are a local, independently owned small business and our focus is on high quality, personalized service. Our staff members are highly trained and experienced; we pride ourselves on our knowledge and expertise in the field of audiology and hearing aids.
Since the various systems produce different hearing impressions, it is important for you to make a comparison yourself. For this purpose we will produce custom-made earmolds based on the exact contours of your ears. We can then ensure that your hearing aid fits perfectly. Scheduled and performed by our licensed and nationally certified Hearing Healthcare Professional are subject to professional fees.
Our Staff members are happy to assist you with hearing health needs. From hearing screening to hearing aid fittings, our highly educated and trained staff are here to help. Thank you for choosing Sumter Hearing Associates in your journey to better hearing! Danyelle was born and raised in Williamsport, Ohio.
Sudden or prolonged exposure to noise can cause damage to your hearing and is one of the leading causes of hearing loss. Hearing loss from prolonged noise exposure is often detected too late, meaning the hearing loss is usually irreversible. Hearing protection is extremely important for anyone who is regularly in a high-noise environment, including target shooters, motorcyclists, pilots, musicians, construction workers and factory workers.
If you have been referred for a diagnostic audiologic evaluation, it means that your hearing needs to be further examined. A diagnostic audiologic evaluation may be indicated for individuals who did not pass an initial hearing screening. The evaluation is done to determine if a hearing loss is present and, if so, to detail the type and severity of the hearing loss.

The doctors and staff are very professional and helpful. Be prepared to pay for the services rendered. Prices are very high. through research after my purchase I notice Sumter HEaring associates is double what you would pay elsewhere. If you have insurance they are a great choice. Although if paying on you own shop around.
