Dr. Kevin Wells, OD, FAAO, Diplomate, American Board of Optometry, has been in practice for 14 years and was voted by his peers in 2006 as Young Optometrist of the Year for the State of Oklahoma. He and his staff are dedicated to improving and maintaining the quality of vision for their patients through state-of-the-art eye care services.
We are a participating provider for Medicare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, United Healthcare, and most other medical insurances and vision plans.

Natalie Pelly, O.D. earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama and her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
While in Alabama, she rotated through the Veterans Affairs Clinic in Birmingham, Community Clinics, and also provided care for patients in various specialty clinics at the UAB School of Optometry such as Vision Therapy, Mild Traumatic Brain Injury, Ocular Disease, Speciality Contact Lenses, and Primary Care.She is excited to be back in South Walton where she enjoys spending time with her husband and Goldendoodle.

An eye exam to monitor the health of your eyes is what a physical is for your overall health. In fact an eye exam can also provide an early detection for some overall health issues including high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes. Detection of any eye issues in it's early stages is the number one key for the proper treatment and recovery.

Modern equipment, experienced staff, professionals, comfortable setting, and attentive. I felt listened to and I felt like they took the time to get it right for me. I’ve been fighting for years at other offices to get the right prescription for my eyes. I always leave not really being able to see clear. I left this appointment being able to see clear and with a plan for my future vision needs. I won’t be searching for the perfect eye doctor any more! Thank you

I marked my calendar with the date and time the lady gave me 10 days
ahead of my request via phone. My appointment was scheduled or 11:20, I arrived at 11 a.m. and was told at the desk that I did not have an appointment. I had called a couple of days before just to confirm and to make sure they were still in the same location.
The receptionist mentioned that they may be able to work me in, but I wanted my appointment time. Sadly, I must look for another eye doctor. I am somewhat elderly and hate driving in heavy traffic.
I was not angry at their mistake, but I do write a review usually, good

I had lasik eye surgery performed at Dr. Wells, and from the consultation until the last checkup 6 months after the surgery, I had an extremely positive experience. Dr. Wells, himself, is very, very knowledgeable, and has a friendly rapport with patients. His staff was always very courteous as well. Never had to wait long to see him and the lasik procedure itself went very well. We have now had 4 people at the company I work at go get lasik at Dr. Wells office. All have been very happy and satisfied with their experience. I was the second of the 4 to go and I convinced the other two to have it

I had my Lasik and follow-up done here and everything was top notch. I was very nervous but Dr. Wells and his staff were amazing! He explained everything as it went and made me very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend! The surgery was also much more affordable than I would have expected and he offers military discount.

Simply stated, Dr Wells is the best, most through Optometrist I have had the pleasure of meeting. I have lived in multiple countries and can not speak more highly of Dr Wells and the professionalism of his entire staff. My previous Optometrist, who I last saw two weeks before visiting Dr Wells gave me a clean bill of health, however Dr Wells discovered through a through exam that I had glaucoma which he immediately treated and the results have been good. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Wells to anyone who has any eye concerns.

I lost my glasses in the ocean(From Texas)
Not only were they able to schedule me last minute but Dr.Wells was kind enough to accept me when I was unable to make it on time for my appointment. (I was virtually working while on vacation) I had to get a contact lense exam because that was the QUICKEST way I would be able to see. Now I have an entire year worth of lenses and I couldn't be more thankful to him for not only saving my vision this weekend but looking out for my health as a whole because he was also able to see I have early stages of Glaucoma and he has referred me to a local Dr. In my

Dr. Wells is amazing! He performed my husbands Lasik surgery and I was able to watch the the entire process. For my eye exam, Dr. Wells did almost everything, even with his office staff there. He knows his office in and out and it shows! It also helped us save money! We received a $200 rebate and even had the option to donate it to give glasses to those in need. I have never been so impressed by a doctor! Dr. Wells saved us time, money, and gave us the best care we have had from any eye care provider.

Dr. Wells fitted me with bifocal contact lenses. Although a very time consuming and exhaustive process, Dr. Wells was through and meticulous throughout the process. He had me try several different designs until I was satisfied at no additional charge. His office is modern with the newest up to date equipment and his staff were very courteous, pleasant and easy to work with. Highly recommended.
