I live on the central coast (Pismo Beach CA) with my husband, 2 kids & 2 dogs and I whole heartedly adore this place because the people here are genuinely content with a casual easy going "SLO" life.

As a mother of toddlers, my lifestyle family sessions are stress free and are more about having fun. With a little direction from me, most of the session is about your family enjoying each other and the result is a gallery full of edited full-resolution digital images with printing rights to allow this moment to last forever.
A fresh 48 session is taken in the hospital within the first 48 hours of your baby's life. There is minimal posing, just lifestyle images of an unforgettable moment in your lives. Fine art school portraits are a modern take on the traditional school photo. Rather than props or brightly colored backdrops, portraits are simple, classic and timeless. Children are photographed against a black backdrop with portraits available in color as well as black and white. I provide a comfortable, fun experience during the session that encourages children to feel at ease and let their personality shine.
Do you know a cancer survivor? Or maybe someone in the thick of their fight against cancer? I'd love to offer a complimentary mini session for families to celebrate their survivor and strength as a family. I lost my own father to cancer, and the photos I have with him and my family are something I cling to when I am missing him most.

Lauren was the ultimate professional. The kids had fun and She was great about keeping the session moving (which we loved as parents knowing our kiddos attention spans quickly fleet). The session itself was fun and efficient, and the gallery of pictures captured the personalities of each family member. We can’t wait to do our family pictures with her again next year!

Lauren was an incredible joy to work with - not only did she capture the most beautiful photos of my family - she went the extra mile to get to a location I had really been wanting and was so accomodating & communicative with scheduling. She also has a gift for getting my kids to cooperate, give natural and genuine smiles and we all had SO much fun. We will be using Lauren for years and years to come. HIGHLY recommend!!

Normally I can't hardly stand taking photos: awkward conversation, weird posing and terrible outcomes. Our experience with Lauren was simply great! She does a fantastic job of making you feel comfortable and she is responsive to your requests. I actually had fun while she did a shoot for my fiancée and I! Lauren got the photos back to us in record time while not skipping out on quality in the slightest. They are super easy to download and she provides an opportunity to purchase prints for very reasonable prices. Lauren took my engagement photos near sunset cliffs by the beach and I love them! She was super professional, sweet and I got my photos back very quickly. I didn’t feel awkward or weird posing in front of her and even had an outfit change. I have since asked her to do multiple family beach photos and she’s even better at that. Super patient with little rugrats. If you are in the pismo or arroyo grande area, I highly recommend scheduling a session!
