After serving as a hospital CEO for nearly 20 years, working for HCA and others, Phil Rowland decided to listen to his son Dusty's suggestion and pursue his passion for real estate. In 2005, father and son set out to start a residential and commercial contracting group that focuses on exceeding their customers' expectations.
Dusty has a background in Civil Engineering and worked with a national contractor building small-box retail stores for clients like Family Dollar, Dollar General, O'Reilly Auto Parts, AutoZone, and more. We recently built a home with the group and although we like our house it was certainly a nightmare process. There was constant miscommunication and it was the most disorganized experience I’ve ever had. If you have the time to manage these guys through the build process then the house is nice, we ended up driving out to the house once a week just to make sure everything was right. Even after moving in there are several things that have been left unaddressed (like the wrong lighting that they installed) and we continue to experience problems.
