Jessica received her degree in Interior Design from UW-Stout in Menomonie WI. In 2010, Jessica launched JLC Remodel Consulting & Interior Design, which has allowed her to explore both residential and commercial design. Jessica's passion is providing solutions to clients that feel 'stuck' with spaces they aren't happy with. Bringing a fresh perspective and the knowledge gained from many successful projects, Jessica feels confident there is always a way to make you love your space.

It is easy to become overwhelmed, discouraged, or just plain 'house blind', when it comes to our homes. But we spend SO much time in our homes that it is a shame to settle with being unhappy with our spaces. Whether it is a fresh coat of paint, packing more function into that tiny mudroom, re-working a poorly laid out kitchen, or adding the space you need for your home to work for you, we can help you plan and implement a solution!
This dated rambler was begging to be updated and re-oriented to capture the stunning views of the lake. But oddly proportioned rooms made for awkward layouts, and the small windows hid most of the million dollar view.
By completely reconsidering the layout of the main level, and incorporating some bold layout concepts (ahem, no door between bedroom and bathroom) we were able to deliver a space that ticked the function boxes for our homeowner, and delivered on his primary vision; bringing the outdoors, in!AFTER: The tub area became the linchpin for both the layout and the aesthetic of the space.

Jessica's design ideas and implementation is outstanding! She understood my vision immediately and used a 3D program to show me her remodel design recommendations. Our space feels SO much lighter and brighter! The selection process (cabinets, flooring, countertops, paint, etc) is so overwhelming but Jessica made great suggestions for our lifestyle (dog/kids) and budget. She has access to so many sources that really made our space unique and like no other. She also designed custom cabinetry for our mud laundry room that made a previously useless space into a multi-functioning storage space! I can
