Here at Northern Threads, we offer many classes designed to expand your creativity & broaden your skills. We are excited to announce we will be offering a variety of sewing, quilting, and embroidery classes for you to participate in from the comfort of your home. All you need is a mobile device or computer with a (webcam & mic, optional) and an internet connection along with the class supplies.
Bernina, Brother, Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking sewing machines are available in a wide range of options, ensuring that there is a machine for everyone, and every use. We also carry Bernina, Brother, Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking machines that are great for embroidery projects to give you unlimited creativity and superb performance with excellent ease of use.

Shipping USPS Flat Rate box is usually the most economical method and includes package tracking. We are not responsible for damages or loss by the postal service. I just love this wonderful place...has my goodies I would love to have..
šthese two blankets I had quilted there and they came out beautiful...and yes I had them put bunch of butterflies on the pattern ...just can't see them with the photo's...I sure recommend this place called Northern Thread's Inc. Beautiful quilted patterns they offer too...the staff are so nice and helpful!!!

My order was shipped the same day and arrived in perfect condition, specially wrapped to protect all of the wonderful gifts enclosed. The chickadee pin cushion is so beautiful and so well made that I will definitely be ordering again! Thereās a mushroom š one that I have my eyes on! Northern Threads is my favorite quilt shop in Fairbanks. They have an amazing selection of quilt kits, row by row kits, and nice Alaskan fabrics. I highly recommend this place. My husband and I come here often. You can find such great quilt kits or row by row kits, very nice fabrics and a great selection of Alaskan fabrics too.

I found them because I bought a sewing machine at a garage sale. It had a couple minor problems the tech guy here fixed for next to nothing and in a single day.
I keep coming back because they have the most beautiful displays of hanging quilts they sell as kits! Very cool.
The drive entrance is a little bit narrow right now because of snow, but the lot is spacious and has been well kept every time I have visited. Handicap access and parking, nice place to visit, wear your masks.

I love the fabrics I have purchased from Northern Threads. I love the variety of color, prints & quality, all of which are very consistent with the photos on line. At the moment Iām making sets of place mats as gifts. The cotton fabrics are such good quality that they are easy to sew and quilt on. They also wash well & the colors stay true & bright. They also come quickly and once I had a problem which was solved quickly with a phone call.

Incredible service from this Alaska shop.... Had fallend in love with their Gnome kit; thought the beard would be a great thread painting project... also found a couple of panels... Northern Lights and Owl that I will do this winter... The entire order came SUPER fast via ordinary mail. This Gnome is a great hit...Hanging here as part of Christmas/ Winter Decor..

I have only had really good experiences with Northern Threads. I have taken a class through them,. The teacher was informative & the room where the class was taught was clean & well lit. They have a great fabric, pattern & thread selection. I have found unique prints and unexpected sales on wonderful products. I have also bought a used embroidery/sewing machine through them. Their tech/repair guy is helpful and informative and also had stock on a cable that I needed for my machine that I couldnāt find in stock online.

One of my favorite fabric stores! I am sad it is so far away from where I live so I have to use online store. If you want northwoods or wildlife, this is the place. Great selection of fabrics and kits and great service. And they have some unique items. I have ordered multiple times and shipments have been accurate and timely every time.

I have never been to Northern Threads, but I have shopped online at their store. I always get excellent help when needed. Their online shop is very user friendly and easy to navigate. The staff have always responded to any questions I have within hours when emailed. Shipping is quick and fabric is awesome :).
