In 2008 I took my first training in keratin hair extensions, and fell in love! Since then, I have been certified in 6 more methods of applications, Bead, I-tip, Flat-tip, tape, keratin fusion, and wefts. Since opening my 1st studio in 2012, I have been growing my business by taking classes online and through travel, to keep up with this ever changing beauty industry.
When I am not giving my guests the hair of their dreams, you can find me cuddling with my deaf and blind cocker spaniel, Layla, or a foster dog, at a live music event, or binge watching some guilty pleasure on TV. When you are in my chair, you have my undivided attention! I only take one guest at a time and do not double book.

Services
All color services come with a special color locking shampoo, color sealer, conditioning treatment and a blow dry style. You may add a haircut, toner or gloss, curling iron style, flat iron style or an upgraded conditioning treatment to any of the above services. Hair extension prices will only be quoted by a consultation appointment.
The haircut, color and styling were great but what made them all fit together in a wonderful package was Monica's expert and thorough interview and evaluation beforehand. I felt she based all her skillful work during each component of my session on her initial assessment of what would be best for my individual scalp, skin hair - the attributes and deficits, as well as the qualities.
I understand all too well that I forgot to make that appointment between the hours of 8-5 with an hour off for lunch. So, I have an online scheduling system which allows you to schedule, change or cancel an appointment at your convenience. I ask that if you are a first time guest at Monchele Hair that you please schedule a consultation first.
Hair extensions are my PASSION! I am always learning new techniques and EVERYTHING about them, and you know what? They just keep getting better and better. For example, I will no longer do tape in extensions, why? because of the damage they do to your natural hair. My intention for you is to give you the best possible look while maintaining the health of your hair.
My handmade deodorant is made from all natural, ingredients. Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and tea tree oil to fight bacteria, which causes odor. I never need to use preservatives in my deodorant, beeswax inhibits the growth of microorganisms and is one of the main ingredients. This fresh scented deodorant will keep you fresh up to 18 hours.

What a great experience! I was in desperate need of a haircut, and my regular stylist is taking a break... Monica asked questions, went over with me options and recommendations and kept me informed all along the way. I have very straight hair and as you can imagine, every cut can leave a mark... Not only does my hair feel terrific, it's perfectly blended, no cut marks! Her suggestions were spot on and have given my hair a style that is easy to maintain it also has great movement. I had my first experience with Monica this morning on a friend's recommendation. I went in for a haircut and i was very pleased with the entire appointment! I showed Monica pictures of what i wanted. She was very professional and she gave me exactly what i wanted. I loved my haircut so much that i made a follow up appointment with her. I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a good stylist. I just realized that all of Monica's other reviews are under Salon Dolce Vita. I've been going to Monica for over a year and I'm so glad I found her. Monica is always approachable, honestly entertaining my questions ranging from different hair gels, dye shades to my ever present "how many layers are too many?". Monica is diplomatic and patient and I trust will never lead me a stray. She has great availability with an easy to use online booking tool. No need to sit on hold with a receptionist when I'm trying to focus on my work day. She has a great salon location inside
