Richard M. Costa has been involved exclusively in the field of immigration and nationality law for more than thirty-five years. He joined the Boston office of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) as an Immigration Inspector at Logan International Airport in 1970 after obtaining his undergraduate degree from Boston College.
We represent clients seeking temporary (nonimmigrant) or permanent (immigrant, or "green card") status in the U.S. based on offers of employment (and in some cases without an offer of employment on the basis of superior qualifications), or based on a relationship to a U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
In addition to processing routine temporary and permanent work related petitions (or family based petitions) in a timely, cost-effective manner, and we have had great success handling cases which present more challenges. Adjustment of Status applications involving unauthorized employment, failure to pay income taxes, or use of fraudulent Social Security numbers.

I hired them through Harvard for a green card application. My main complain is that they let us down (but kept their money, of course) just before the interview with immigration (can't explain the issue, but even the admins at Harvard that use this office were puzzled).
The lady who's one of the main lawyers in the office was very patronizing. She asked irrelevant questions that were almost offensive.

My husband and I hired Laurie Riccio to assist us in filing his green card paperwork. I was highly impressed with Laurie's professionalism and attention to detail.
