Joel Zerr is a Hearing Aid Specialist. Joel is originally from Gainesville, FL and moved to Myrtle Beach in 2019. Joel attended the University of Florida and started working at US Hearing Solutions in 2018. Joel began working in the hearing industry in 2018 and was drawn to the profession because he loves helping others connect with their friends and families.

Lack of staff to provide constant care/contact - a result of poor management.
The aid was out of town twice in one week and absent the entire week following, leaving me with a hanging order, no contact, and no coverage where someone else could give me an order delivery status.
I called multiple times and only got “Joel will have to get that info…”. I called the day he returned and left word to call me but no response. If I get this poor service in my order, what difficulty will I have trying to get follow up appointments.
I do not recommend this Fernandina Beach office. And my order is

I have enjoyed working with Joel at this location. He is thorough, caring & knowledgeable. He took his time to make sure I was happy with both the fit & the sound. I would recommend them to anyone. I went to an ENT first & was not happy with their lack of support & knowledge. I felt like they just wanted me to buy hearing aids & be gone. It was a big adjustment period for me & I am glad I went with US Hearing & Joel.

Writing this review on my sons account. Melissa, when she was there, was awesome. Unfortunately with the Covid virus, she was unable to work. The gal that was subbing for her made me all kinds of promises to research an existing worker’s compensation award i was given and to contact my insurance to see what coverage they would provide on the purchase of new hearing aids. She was to get back to me and never did.
Consequently i purchased new aids from someplace else. Too bad since my original purchase six years ago was through US Hearing.
Sorry Melissa, i tried but your replacement failed.

I brought my 96 year old father in to see what was wrong with his VA Hearing Aids. Melissa was so kind. She cleaned them and changed tubes. She said that we might want to go back to the VA for new ones and they would be glad to service them. After several months of trying to work with the VA, I was so frustrated, that I made an appointment with Matthew to get Dad new Hearing Aids. Matthew showed so much respect and patience to my father, I was very impressed. He worked with Dad finding the exact hearing aids he needed.
