Have been a customer of Sound Disposal for a few years now. Decided to write this review because they really went out of their way this past snow storm to make sure that our garbage was picked up. Instead of "because of the snow, we will pick up next week", they were out there on as soon as they were able to to make sure that our garbage didn't get overflow. I have had multiple encounters with the drive and they are very friendly and professional.

Overly picky about recycling. Left a plastic groceries bag and they refused to take any of it. They say they get charged for it if it’s in there by the recycling company. Never had any issues like these with any other company. Frustrating that I have to throw out many items that do get recycled by other companies. It plain wasteful.

Four years and no problems. I've never had them NOT pick anything up, and they are very friendly. Maybe we got better drivers than the other two reviewers here, but those other reviews are certainly not indicative of the service we've received.
One negative is it would be nice in 2016 if they had a simple website with the recycling pickup schedule on it. If you lose the piece of paper they send out it's a hassle.

Worst service ever. C'mon man, your garbage men, pick up the garbage. Just because it fell out of the can and is sitting on the ground next to it, your not going to take it. Lame and lazy. I agree with the comment that this is what happens when there is no competition. It's a small ma and pa shop that somehow has this area monoplolized and the workers know this, do a terrible job, and still get paid.
