Tale of 2 limos.
I used this company a few years ago and Matt was very helpful. Always returned calls or texts right away. I asked for a specific vehicle on their website but all they had available was the Excursion which is one of the older cars on the fleet. I was running out of time and since Matt was so professional and helpful and gave me a great rate on top of that I went ahead and booked it. The whole experience was very positive and stress-free.

Called up Matt two days before an improptu bachelor party for my friend getting married (no alcohol involved), and he was able to get me a hummer limo for half the price of all the other places I called. I booked him right away. We had an amazing night and filled up our limo with almost 20 guys. we don't drink (or go to clubs, most of us were happily married men), we just went out for a ride through san francisco, ate dinner at a spot in the tenderloin, drove around a bit more while toasting/roasting our friend and had a blast!

I had researched over a dozen companies using Yelp and selected ACAL. Matt and Sheldon were very responsive to all of my questions, emails, calls, etc. for transporting our daughter and her friends up to The City for her 16th bday celebration. Matt arrived at our home on time and brought us up for photo ops at the base of the Bay Bridge and Palace of Fine Arts. He then took us to Calzone's for dinner and Ghiradelli for dessert.

I used this limo service for my daughter's 16th surprise birthday celebration.
Phil was our driver. He picked us up right on time.
It was a surprise so he picked everyone up and then drove to our house to pick up the birthday girl.
Then on to AT&T park for the Giants game.
Phil was very friendly and accommodating.
He took care of 15 teenage girls without a hitch.
Everyone home safe now. Giants won. A perfect day.

Booking this company was the biggest source of stress I experienced during my entire wedding process! I booked them about 6 months in advance (wedding was in July) and had given a deposit and everything. 2 weeks prior to the wedding, I figured I should check in to make sure everything was still good. I confirmed service on November 16, 2015 for November 21, 2015 Pick up 6 girls in San Ramon for my daughters 21st birthday for a 5 hour trip to Napa. On the 21st they were a no show I called and text with no reply. We used a phone from out of town and FUNNY they answered SAID HE NEVER RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION FROM ME I had the text with the confirmation and provided it to him. He then said I will see what I can do and get back to you we waited until 1:00pm called text again from both of our phones with no answer or return text.

We rented a limo from A Cut Above Limo this past weekend for a Girl's Night Out and had a good experience.
Pros: owner gave honest feedback about which limo was most safe and appropriate, rates were competitive, on time service, our driver Ken was FANTASTIC and flexible with the asks of our large party, the limo was clean and spacious.
Areas of growth: company could use administrative support to keep up with inquiries and timely responses, the limo's air condition unit seemed to not operate properly and it was unusually warm the night we rented the limo, the limo sound system should

If you want to keep loyal customers, then provide customer service that makes you seem desirable to do business with.
Promises were made, promises were not kept. 5 e-mails ignored.
WHOEVER IS READING THIS: Go ahead and use them, but if something goes wrong, don't expect to get your money back or a reply after constantly e-mailing for your money for 3 weeks straight.

Wish I could give more stars!! I had never rode in a limo and with our wedding approaching I saw the opportunity to finally rent a limo and I'm so happy we went with A Cut Above Limo services!! I initially spoke with Matt who's super friendly and gave me lots of information. In the weeks approaching our wedding, I had to make changes and received email responses within the next business day if not the same day! Super accommodating to last minute changes!! A few days before Ronnie called to confirm our schedule and any last minute questions we might've had.

This was definitely one of the bright points of the wedding. From the beginning, Ronnie took care of me, answered all phone calls and emails promptly. I am a control freak and i got all the information I needed asap from him.
Halfway through this process I realized that we had too many people staying in the hotel and that I needed addl limos and one party bus wouldn't be enough. They were able to get us a stretch escalade at a moments notice just a few weeks

Why haven't I heard of them before?! I rented the 14 passenger excursion last night for my boyfriends birthday party from the east bay to sf. Our driver showed up 20 minutes early in a nice dress shirt and slacks (I think his name was willie) and he was so nice and accommodating. I wanted to do it big for my 27th bday and get a party bus. I asked around for recommendations of company's and everyone said they used A Cut Above Limo.
