I had been a patient of this office for about two years, during which time the service was fine. I didn't go for a year and a half during COVID and returned in March 2021. Something clearly has changed, and not just the office space. They took X-rays and then did minimal cleaning, polishing first and barely scraping. Then came the crazy part. Mr. Tavallei diagnosed me with oral cancer saying in 90% of the cases, what he called a lesion under my tongue is cancerous. The oral surgeon he referred me to only had an opening a month later. I scheduled my own oral surgeon inspection the next day

Dr. Tavallei is the best dentist I have ever been to. He is extremely talented at what he does, and is so kind and caring. I feel so lucky to have found a dentist that I like. I spent years fearing dental appointments and dental work before meeting Dr. Tavallei. I have had quite a bit of dental work done by Dr. Tavallei, from crowns to root canal to fillings, and the work he has done looks and feels far superior to any other dental work I have had done by other dentists. Dr Tavallei is a wonderful person who will listen to you and work with you to achieve your oral health goals. I'm in the profession and have worked with him for some time; I've seen his impeccable ethics, patient-centered focus, and excellent skills. I'm always leery about choosing a dentist for myself given what I know and what I've seen. I've chosen Dr Tavallei as my dentist and recommended him to several close friends. I don't think you can do better. Did I mention I'm driving from SF to see him?
