The Big River Escape property includes 6 cabins, an on-site RV, a courtyard, two fire pits, a pavilion, grills, an outdoor games toy box, a critter cleaning cabin, ample parking, and a 52' dock. Did we mention that for a small river town, there's lots to do here? Bike a 10-mile trail loop on the Great River Road. Our 52' dock is located just across the street from the cabins. Use it to fish, tie your boat up, or to enjoy a front-seat view of the Mississippi River and the spectacular sunsets.
All guests must wear life jackets while using water toys and boats rented from Big River Escape Riverside Cabins. The river has strong undercurrents and can be difficult to navigate, even for experienced swimmers. There is no lifeguard or medic on staff. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

A: At B&S Express, a gas station and convenience store located less than a mile south of the cabins. River Ratz, just a couple of blocks south of the cabins, also sells ice and carry-out beer. You can also purchase snacks and alcohol at the Dollar General located in Cochrane. The tap water at Big River Escape has nitrate levels exceeding the maximum allowed.
