Services
Beginning in Kokomo, Indiana, the Holder tradition of quality began over 70 years ago. In 1947, equipped with only 7 innerspring units and $1000, the Holder Mattress family business was formed. At first, rebuilding mattresses was the only service provided. However, by 1956 the Holders expanded their business to provide their customers with newly-made, custom-designed, one-of-a-kind mattresses for sale in their own mattress store.
The Holder employees are like family. All of them have a deep appreciation of excellence. They work diligently to create, design and produce for you the most uniquely comfortable mattresses possible. Holder employees are specially trained to create the comfort you want in a mattress, so each mattress is built one-by-one.
Since we hand craft our own mattresses and box springs, we make custom sized and shaped mattresses. Whether you're creating a size to fit your personal needs or looking for an odd size for an antique bed frame, we can build a product to your specifications. Holder Mattress Company sells furniture, accessories and gifts made by other manufacturers that we feel exhibit the quality and integrity that is comparable to our own products. We try to emphasize domestic products from local manufacturers whenever possible. The variety of tabletop decor, accessories and gifts varies widely from vendors and by season.
Should you ever need or want help flipping and/or rotating your Holder Mattress, we'd be happy to oblige. We offer a customizable Mattress Maintenance Program where we will come to your home and do any or all of the maintenance on your Holder Mattresses. I purchased a Holder mattress as well as two new pillows 3 months ago and I have never slept better. Their customer service was excellent and the staff did not sell me on the bed, they actually educated to ensure I was comfortable with my selection. It was also a bonus to know they are a local company and all mattress sets are custom made here in Indiana.

We just had a Registry Soft Top mattress with box springs delivered and set up by Holder Mattress. This replaces the Holder mattress we purchased 21 - 22 years ago. The service in the store, by knowledgeable personnel, was very helpful even though I thought I knew what we wanted. They verified that the new mattress met our needs. A truck and two people arrived within the delivery window they promised. After removing and loading our old mattress and springs on they truck, they gave me enough time to vacuum under our bedframe and the installed the new springs and mattress. Once again, I am very happy

Who knew there was a Holder Bedding in Muncie, and a Holder Mattress in Carmel.
I asked my husband (who works in Muncie) if he would call Holder and order the 2 custom mattresses we need for the lakes. He Googled and called Holder Mattress, and ordered.
We payed double what we would have payed at Holder Bedding in Muncie.
It is custom order so we have to except we made an expensive error.
