LoJac LLC has successfully enrolled in the prestigious Gold Shovel Standard acknowledging we meet the highest standards of safe excavation practices around underground facilities. Gold Shovel Standard certification is a rigorous excavation safety program supported equally by both facility owners and contractors, functioning to improve public and workforce safety.
Hydro-Excavation, or hydrovac, is the process of using pressurized water to excavate material. The resulting slurry is then removed using a powerful vacuum system. Hydro-excavation is minimally invasive, fast, and effective. As well as many more. LoJac's trucks are specially equipped to conduct hydro-excavation operations at any temperature, making them perfect for work in freezing conditions.
Subsurface Utility Engineering is a process of mapping utilities, including relocation, design, condition assessment, and communication of utility issues and cost estimates. LoJac uses vacuum excavation techniques to gather information needed for effective subsurface utility engineering. We can provide mapping for all quality levels defined by the American Society of Civil Engineers, depending on what exactly is needed for the particular project.

LoJac offers a wide variety of pipe camera services, where we can insert our camera systems to inspect pipes for cracks, leaks, blocks, or other issues. Inspections with a camera are surgically precise, making them quicker and more cost effective than alternative methods of inspection. Pipe camera inspections are complex and required specialized equipment and the professional operators to use it.
